There seems to be a few different opinions on here with regards Boothy. Legend as he is, I don't think he will, or should really figure much in the new set-up. Personally, there were times over the last season or two where I felt we were relying too much on him and not investing in new young strikers. So, with investment in young talent now happening, where do you stand on the question of the legend that is Boothy?

I would have him on the bench and bring him on in the last 10 minutes! He really needs to retire next season though.

I think boothy is an invaluable tool for the bench, when our silky passing game isnt making the breakthrough, launch boothy into action and punt some balls to him.

If he fits in with the plans that LC has, which going by past comments and quotes from LC, he does, then he can play this season and beyond.

Werling, Roberts, Cadds, Ainsworth, Pilkington & Holdsworth can all cross a ball. All Boothy has to do is stand on the penalty spot & he'll get 30 goals a season! ;D

Although I think he could probably turn out for games next season I reckon he'd be much more use helping bring through younger strikers (whenever we get some!)

With our current strikers he walks into the team when fit.

This season and small part next season.
The fact that previous managers have relied on him too much is hardly Boothy's fault.
Now with a good set up and better players around him he can be used just to stick them away rather than being used to head the hoofs upfield as he has been previously.

With our current strikers he walks into the team when fit. That's true! I think he will play a part this season but not much after that - at least playing. Hopefully he can get into coaching...........
