2 more midfielders - when we already have an abundance of players for these positions.
Every game I have seen lately our midfield has been brilliant and produced chance after chance for our non existent strike force.
Is it just me ?

Just remember players are going to be leaving and we a replacing those players before they leave with player who are imo quality signings and will move the club and the team forward.
Regards the striker comment I agree but don't worry I'm sure you won't be dissapointed

Agree the out and out striker issue still needs addressing but why not sign 2 players who improve your club?
I'd say we still needed a winger which we now have, the lack of striker was just a more prominent problem.
Roberts and Cads have been doing well but Cads hasn't played as many games as you would like.

I don't agree Game after game I see us streaming forward but not play killer balls. I don't think we're missing sitters

I still feel we need a strong out and out striker like Graham to help link up the play goin forward and hold up the ball when we need it to be. I can't see us being able to afford a striker now though after spending prob around 750grand on Pilks and Lionel Ritchie. Think its gonna have to be a loan!

Point is we need a striker far more than two new midfield players. We have to turn our domination into goals or we will not get promoted !!!

You have to respect what LC has said about players, he is not going to be rushed into signing players just to bolster the squad they have to improve the quality and show the right charicteristics, if it won't happen till end of season then what will be will be.

We are in eighth place.
Total goals scored by our two strikers Jevons and Parker = 2 between them.
That's how good our midfield has been and why I cannot understand why we can go out and spend money on more midfielders. Surely we should save the cash to spend on the right striker when he is available.
Or has Clarky got more money available than we thought ?
The view that we can wait to sign a striker in the summer is fine as long as we realise that we will be in League 1 again !!

I don't think we're missing sitters No we're not missing sitters because our current strikeforce aren't good enough to get into the correct positions. Roberts and Cads have been awsome for the past few weeks, I can see either of the new sigings being tried up front whether or not we get a new striker. I don't think this is just about signing players to fill holes, i think it's also about Deanos business plan for the club, it's about investing in young talent and getting a return on that investment both on the pitch and maybe in future transfer fees. It's what he alluded to before appointing Clarke. Exciting times. A striker would be the icing on the cake.
