Today's announcements have signaled a huge state of intent about the future of Huddersfield Town.
We have had some hellish lows in the last 12 months and some peaks in varying sizes. Mr. Hoyle, Mr. Clark and his team etc but today is different. We have bought class, young, hungry and bags of potential players and it's a taste of things to come.
Blackburn, Wigan, Hull and to be fair Barnsley and even Bradford have had there moments in the top league in the world. But now at long last I see the start of a new dawn breaking.
This is not a passing piece of emotion but something written after deeply weighing up all the pro's and cons of were we have been, were we are at now and all the mechanics being put in place for our long term future.
The forthcoming ride will have peaks and troughs but we are going only one place within the next 16 months and that is the Championship.
That's not arrogance, delusion or anything else, it's based on confidence and momentum and Mr. Black is so spot on that when positive attitudes are a matter of natural reaction rather then a passing thing, then people can achieve anything.
If we miss promotion this year, then watch out league one next season. I don't care who is in this division we can beat them all and do it with style.
Am I worried about playing Leicester tomorrow? Am I hell we are going their for 3 points, not a draw.
Believe me when I say that if Leicester do get anything out of the game, they will know they have been in one hell of a fight.
Roll on tomorrow, the Town Juggernaut is gathering momentum.
