Lots of very optimistic talk today, and rightly so, but lets not get carried away. We can't expect promotion this season. Its possible yes, anything is possible, but lets just enjoy the ride. I'd hate for the expectations to get so high, that it all gets negative again if we do lose a couple, and do miss out on the play off.
The future is looking bright, and we've got a great chance of the play offs this year, but if it doesn't happen this year, we've got everything in place to do it in style next year.

I reckon we could break 90 points if we are still in league one next season. By the start of next season we will have got rid of a lot of the deadwood, brought in more quality and Clark and co will have been working with the players for a long time. We could have a real quality side next year

To be fair I think everyone is staying calm and just savoring the moment. There has been too many deep dives after small crests of adulation over the years. What's different this time and as I have posted elsewere, is that to many positive are all working at the same time which is something that does not happen many times in life. You live and breath confidence and success will follow.

its been so long since town have been competing for these calibre of players and so long since we had this feel good factor that i dont think anyone could be blamed for getting a little giddy. There have been enough lows lets just enjoy the fun for however long it lasts and savour every moment....lets hope we dont have another 'carlise boxing day' 2moro to sour things a little.

Couldn't agree more, I'm all for enjoying it, and I want us to enjoy it even if it doesn't happen this year. Because I know we'll achieve our goals with the structure we have in place however long it takes.

Next year we will have 3000 less fans at home games - if we go up this time we will keep most of the 100 pound ST holders.

My best mate is a Blackpool fan, this season for town reminds me of the way Blackpool fans were the season beofre last when they went up, winning the last 10 games of the season and going up in the play-offs. that was also after a few new players came in (including Robbie Williams and Keigan Parker) and a young, hungry manager (Grayson). I'll be more than happy to emulate the way they finished that season.
