Makes good reading - far more positive on us than we are on here! I think it says how far we have come to be so dissapointed in loosing to the league leaders. we are now been noticed by opposition fans as a good team which is good

we still dont seem to be able to hold onto a lead.... we can't kill off a game.... we played well... until we got ahead then we seemed to lose shape and ideas.... still we were probably asking too much at this stage.... onwards and upwards...

Your fans are a credit to your club.
For an hour of the game you deserved at least a point but didn't offer anything once we started pasing and moving.
The last half an hour you fell apart, but as I have said in another thread, you were definately the best team I have watched against us this season.
Hope you go up with us!

If we could defend set pieces, we would have won, free headers given in the box to Howard cost us.
Still excellent effort by the lads! UTT

This was my take on it on our forum:
That was a really good game, possibly the best this season in terms of the opposition playing well too (Orient away I'd compare it with). I'd be annoyed as a Huddersfield fan to see my team score two superb goals only to concede four fairly scrappy goals from set pieces.
Their fans were excellent and you can't blame them for shutting up a bit once the tide began to turn. Very loud and a good array of songs. Have really enjoyed both games with them this season and it's harsh that they ended up losing to us twice.

Two excellent goals and a good vocal following - If you can pull out performances like that between now and the end of the season you'll be in the mix.
We took the points yesterday simply because we have managed to achieve a level of resilience, fitness to last the full 90 minutes and self-belief. Without wanting to come across as arrogant, having seen almost everyone of our matches this season, we are a class apart from most in this league - I only say this to support my belief that you should only take positives from yesterday's match as you were by far the best visitors to the Walkers this season in my opinion.
If it had ended in a draw I'd have had no complaints and for the bulk of the game I thought I was about to see us lose. At full time I turned to face your travelling support to applaud them, they fully deserved it.
Good luck with the rest of your season

Nice post mate..... thought it was an excellent advert for league one actually and we scored two cracking goals.....im sure we learnt a lot of useful things from the defeat, a game we should really have at least got a point. Good luck to the foxes, had a very enjoyable day at the counting house aswel... you will walk this league. 4-2 up and I see you bring Dickov off the bench, we need a striker.

I thought the atmosphere was great yesterday. I was sat by the Leicester singing section & they did a great job of getting behind the team (easy when you're top of the league tho ) maybe it didn't carry over to where other Town fans were sat. It was good to go to a decent new ground where the atmosphere is good, the stewarding was good & sensible (my arse never touched my seat) & we watched a decent game of football with some great goals (shame about the final score). Let's hope we can make the championship & have games like this most weeks.

I go to all leicester's home games and I have to say that Huddersfield were the best footballing side to visit the Walkers this season - and by some distance. I'm surprised you are not pushing for automatic promotion - do you play like that every week?

I'm surprised you are not pushing for automatic promotion - do you play like that every week? Since we got rid of Ternent who had us playing hit and hope clogball with unsuitable players, we have. Unfortunatly his tenure left us well down the league table, and we are clawing that back. Our weakness is a lack of a striker with a killer instinct (like Fryatt), which we hope to sort out this week.
