We're not going up this year. Let's face it - there are too many teams above us with a game(s) in hand and who, at the moment, aren't slipping up. Of course we've got to try and keep plugging away in case any do drop off, and I'm sure we will. But I think we're going to miss out. It's no big deal mind - if we are still in League 1 in 2009/10 it'll be a glorious season. And that, folks, is FACT. Complete Hogwash - Blackpool were much further behind when they did it 2 years ago. You cannot say we will not make it as a fact. Much water to flow under that bridge yet. Read it again. The FACT doesn't apply to the first paragraph about not getting promotion, it applies to the last one - that 2009/10 will be glorious. Can you guarantee me 100% that 2009/10 will be glorious?

Morris - I offer my humbe and sincere apologies...but it can be read both ways i.e. we won't get promoted and have a great season next tme round. Ho-hum...just don't write it off yet...... No worries. And I'll never write us off completely. There's always a little ray of hope. I just think it's too much this time around.

Before we played Crewe in November, which was Stan's last game, we were 19th with 14 ponts. I know we have played more than everybody else now BUT in that time only Leicester have picked up more points than us. We have 26 ponts in 13 games, leicester have 35 in13 ( phenominal ). MK also have 26 and Peterborough 24, Oldham 23. Top three before that game were Scunthorpe ( 18 ) , Millwall ( 18 ) and Leeds ( 16 ). If we can keep this form up, then there is nothing to say that we won't make up the gap. Personally I'm not looking at other teams / fixtures until ther are @ least 10 games to go.

Thing is, if we do make the play offs, or 2nd (as I predict), it'll be achieved in the last few games of the season. The progress through from 10th upwards will be painstakingly slow, but it will happen for us.
KEEP THE FAITH. WE ALL HAVE OUR PART TO PLAY IN OUR SEASON OF GLORY!!!!!
