Blackpool have just signed Liverpool reserve striker Kristian Nemeth on loan. With our Liverpool connection, we ought to have been in for him - Would have been ideal especially as Roberts is now out for a while.

Roberts often plays through the middle and I think would have been used as so at Yeovil if he hadn't been a stupid boy! As Roberts is one of our main goal threats it's not an unfair argument surely!

Has anyone actually seen Nemeth play? If it wasn't for Football Manager, I wouldn't know of him.

I think people talk up these 'connections'. Why would Benitez loan one of his players to a league 1 club rather than a championship club, because our assistant manager used to play for Liverpool?

I agree with you.

It can help to a certain extent but is often not the deciding factor in deals.

Noel Brotherston eh? Good Lord, he used to tear us apart. He passed away a year or two since I believe. A cracking winger. R.I.P

I'm, fortunate to be on Virgin Tv and therefore ahve loads of these club channels. You can always catch a footie match somewhere. Saw this lad play on the Liverpool channel for the reserves most of last season and he is class!
