We seem to be getting better at singing songs but I've often thought that whilst the "Those were the days" song has the advantage of being unique to Town, it often leaves the opposing fans not really hearing about the 3 in a row. So, how about this, as far as I know another unique football song (cos I thought of it) - to the tune of The Proclaimers (and Peter Kay!!) Verse 1 "We would walk 500 miles, just to see the Town beat all the rest. And we would walk 500 more, just to see the Town simply the best." Chorus 1 "Huddersfield Town, (Huddersfield Town) Huddersfield Town, (Huddersfield Town) Huddersfield Town, better than the rest. Huddersfield Town, (Huddersfield Town) Huddersfield Town, (Huddersfield Town) Huddersfield, simply are the best." Verse 2 "We won the league 3 times in a row, and we won the F.A. Cup We won the league 3 times in a row and we won the F.A. Cup" Chorus 2 "What have you won? (What have you won?) What have you won? (What have you won?) Huddersfield, we've won more than you! Huddersfield Town, (Huddersfield Town) Huddersfield Town, (Huddersfield Town) Huddersfield - we've won more than you!!" Repeat as desired Probably Verse 1 and Chorus 1.
It grows on you, in fact I can't get it out of my head!!!
What do others think??

On a similar note.I think personally that we overdo the L##D's songs but if we are going to sing them lets get it right. The old song that starts "Who's that knocking on the window",when it gets to the name of their manager its B###Y Bre#### and his men. I know its not important but that bit of the song just turns into a mumble.
There I feel better now. ;D

Just ask MayorofCov for some decent tunes. Or HuddRatMatt. Makes some class chants. Like the full version to 'We All Hate L**ds Scum' and the absolutely class one for Gary Roberts. Talent ;D

They were the ones who'd won "F**k all again" & because of the ban following the Paris riots "Can't get into Europe anymore".

Just ask MayorofCov for some decent tunes. Spot on. It was tuition for the young uns (like me) on Saturday in the Counting House. That's why i'm always up for naming a pub beforehand so all the songs get banded about. We are the people who sing of victory......

Shouldn't it now be; "Who's that knocking on the window, Who's that knocking on the door--SHUT THAT DOOR, Larry Grayson and his men,'cos they've won f**k all again, And they can't get into Europe anymore"
