Fair enough, but why has Collins been dropped just because we have a new signing? His form and goalscoring has been better than a lot of strikers in the division.
I'd leave one of the 2 new signings on the bench and bring them on later on.
I'd also keep Smithies in goal as I don't think he deserves to be dropped just for not signing a contract (yet?).

This is where opinions differ...
For my money apart from his goals recently Collins has had very little real impact on any games recently. Against Oldham he disappeared until the goal. Same with Swindon and did nothing against Leicester. I fully agree that his goals have been vital but I just don't think he gets stuck in.
Most agree that Glennon got dropped for no particular reason, perhaps it's time for Smithies to get the same treatment - might bring him back down to earth.

He did let 4 goals in on Saturday, maybe he needs a break, he's only young

I'd play same team but Ainsworth on wing and Pilks up front with Jevons.

agree with that, we need some new blood upfront defo.... and ainsworth is a speed merchant on the wing, need to start both of them, parker should be left out imo.

Frank Lampard doesn't get stuck in but he gets the goals and is highly rated because of it (obviously Collins is nowhere near Lampard's league but he's been getting goals). I agree that Glennon was dropped just "to give Alex a game"... but I don't think we know for definite that Smithies needs bringing back down to earth for him to be dropped. If we are expecting him to leave, keep him in the side, clock up more games and maybe that will affect how much the tribunal sets the fee as.

Hmm LW hmm is Ainsworth or Pilkington naturally left footed? I'd expect the naturally left footer to take Roberts place and the other to start up front with Jevons.

I cant see clark changing the side for the sake of changing just because he has some new signing my team would be,
------------------------------Smithies------------------------------
Holdsworth---------N.Clarke---------Butler---------Williams
Cads-----------Goodwin-----------Collins-----------Ainsworth
-----------------------Parker--------Jevons------------------------
Subs: Glennon Flynn Pilkington Craney Werling

Subs: Glennon Flynn Pilkington Craney Werling Got to be TC and/or Berrett in there otherwise you’ve no CB/RB cover.

Didn't thnk about a defensive sub maybe this is why I am poo at champ manger, in that case it has be flynn out for Berret, i think craney offers more in the midfield at this current time

If Smithies plays tonight it suggests that we aren't packing him in cotton to be shipped out... and LC still has faith in him..

Hmm LW hmm is Ainsworth or Pilkington naturally left footed? I'd expect the naturally left footer to take Roberts place and the other to start up front with Jevons. I believe that Pilkington is naturally left-footed but pretty comfortable on his right. So Pilks on the LW and Ainsworth on the RW. With Cads and Jevons upfront. I think that IMO is the best solution. Yes I know Cads has been playing awesomely on the wing, but we need a physical presence upfront who'll disrupt the centre backs, something Parker (unless one of them is Jade Goody) and Jevons won't do. Get Ainsworth and Pilkington bombing down each wing and we'll see some FBs with err muddy shorts after 5 minutes!

Drop Smithies and so does his value at the tribunal at the end of the season I think he'll go with Werlinger on the left of midfield to replace Robbo with Pilks and Ainsworth on the bench.

My team would be England's No 1 Andy H Nathan Andy B Robbie Cadders Gooders Micky C Pilks Kiegs Jevo Not particularly pleased if this is the case. Parker has shown he isnt up to it, ainsworth is full of confidence given his recent form and would offer far more than parker even though he isnt a striker. Stick ainsworth on the right and cadders up front for parker
