I'd assumed he'd be around the £15M mark; I don't know what I'd based that on but that was just the rough figure I had in my head.
Then I was a bit confused when he wasn't in the FourFourTwo rich list; Heskey was in 100th place with £12M if memory serves (?) and I'm pretty sure that includes assets as well, which added to my confusion.
But now I've just read on Stockport's MB that he's worth £110M?!
I appreciate that noone will know the right amount, but I don't even have a clue of a ball park figure!

What are you talking about? Our Dean is priceless! ;D But I think he's worth more than £15m to be honest as he owns probably the largest and most successful card-chain store in the UK... however I wouldn't like to hazard a guess though. But I bet he makes a killing on Valentines Day... except this year in Huddersfield and Leeds as everyone will have no doubt have forgotten about Valentines Day.

I bet you a penny to a pound that his fortune will be working a lot harder for him than Heskey's.

Yes it's £100m+, but I understand that is The Card Factory's price tag - his personal worth....only he knows that! His company will be the financial strength and how money is moved and loaned between The Card Factory, HTAFC & Mr Bank Manager!

The £15M I'm presuming. So that's around £300M . Plus, this recession is probably going to help him. Seems I underestimated Sir Deano!

Card Factory turns over around £50 million a year at least, since about 2005-2006. He started it up in 1996 I think. So he's probably worth a fair bob.

To say he's worth £110 million or so, is a bit misleading in 2 ways:
Firstly thats the figure that could be achieved if he sold everyone of his shops, thus depriving him of any revenue.
Secondly it doesn't take in to account earnings potential. So if Card Factory are doing will he will have alot more disposible income to spend on new players :-)

The most recent financial details I can find for Card Factory show it made £4.4m profit on sales of £72.1m in 2006. It has been growing rapidly since then, though, I believe.
As to where that leaves DH in terms of personal wealth, it's anybody's guess. A private company is 'worth' what anyone would pay for it if the owner decided to sell, and although he will have taken cash out of the business, I guess his net worth is overwhelmingly the value of the business. In the present market, who knows? Could be anything from £50m upwards. Could very easily be a LOT higher than that though.
update.... Management Today valued him (and his wife) at £72 million based on those 2006 results. But judging the worth of someone whose wealth is in a business he has no intention of selling is finger in the air stuff.

Here's an idea - why don't they open a branch at the stadium? I think it would do pretty well.
And then target other football stadiums, like Prime Time did. Lots of (usually) blokes who may usually forget birthdays and stuff.
I'd buy all my cards there - they'd get the egg-chasers in the summer as well.

He gave £1,000,000 to charity not so long ago .. the same one we're doing the Pink Town Shirts for so I'd say a lot more than £15m!
