This is Huddersfield Town - you come to expect it after a while...

I unfortunately have to agree
if we can't beat a team with hardly any first team professionals, in the relegation place
with only 2 WINS AT HOME ALL SEASON! and manage to lose. and especially from a set-piece say goodbye to the play-offs fellers

i think we have to give up on them unless we go unbeaten for the rest of the season which i cannot see happening at all.
Its very frustrating stuff and i'm not even bothering getting pissed off cos' its just typical and we sounded very, very poor.

towns problem for donkeys years is we can get results against the top teams, but we always struggle against the trash teams, thats cost us so many times in recent years, and we need to learn to sort that otherwise we wont go anywhere

have to agree with all of that i didnt expect anything this season but consolodation when clark took over so not too dissapointed, lets get 1 or 2 good strikers in the summer and a right back and and possibley a centre back and get rid of sum utter shi*e players. just beat leeds now and try and finish as high as possible ive high hopes for next season they better not let me down

So we have let another w*nk team do us over again. We can't even beat a team that's injury ridden and in the bottom half of the table. We won't make the play-offs and personnally I would not waste money now on a striker to chase the dream. Let's get this sh*t season over, get rid of deluded talk of the play-offs and get building for next season. I'm in such a foul and furious mood now

we are no better now than we were under Ternant. We can not defend. We can not score. we will be mid table this season at best. the new management team have so far made no difference other than to increase optimism which has improved the atmosphere at games.
I would rather have poor atmospheres but have a team that does not go to sleep in injury time and lose to nothing teams.
Brighton have 'parked the bus' and got apoint at Leicester tonight. Our tactical mastermind earned us 0 points there on Saturday.
I am now looking to next season after our run of 1 win in 5 games, whereas before Satuday I was almost certain we would mae the play offs. these last 2 games have shown that we are just not god enough.

have to agree with you mate.... we are not good enough, we will now see what Clark is made of and his team..... as you say a mediocre brighton got a point tonight, we could not see our lead thru and were overrun in the end......

Sheesh... Just 2 hours ago everyone was optimistic that the season wasn't a lost cause and we would reach the playoffs. One defeat and the negativity returns.
Let's keep the faith. UTT

i don't think it is an overeaction.we have a tendency to let late goals in during both halfs of the game.we control the game for long periods then throw it away .we could easily have lost 2 or 3 nil tonight.we created virtually zilch tonight in terms of goal chances. regarding lee clark---why does he keep moving cademarteri up front when he is running rings around the opposition out wide?he never does anything up front but is lethal out wide. he should have left cadders where he was and put ainsworth up front. If you look on virginmedia you will see that ainsworth has scored goals galore playing up front. we also need a central defender and an out and out right back. rant over!

But elegidley we have some good players, we should have beat a crap team with injury problems no excuse but as usual we were poor, I will repeat what I said when Clark came in, it would be a difficult to get into playoffs this season
