He lives down the road from me and my family knows his family, from what I've been told he has been released by town and signed a short team deal at oxford. I dont know if its until the end of the season or what, I've just been told he has been released and signed for oxford.

Always a shame when a so-called promising local youngster is released, but if he cant get near our first team this season when we have been average at best defensively for large parts of it, it sort of suggests he isnt quite good enough. Hopefully he will get a chance of first team football elsewhere and have a decent career but from what i have seen not quite good enough for us currently, never mind where we aspire to!!! Good luck SK though.

LOL what a confusing reply. How long have you held this Shane Killock vendetta? You're wasting your time there, there's no way he'll know what vendetta means.

At least from his point of view he's gone to a fairly decent club.

Well Tom got it spot on. Sorry to see the kid go. I thought he looked ok on the couple of times I have seen him.
Good luck to him. Maybe two steps back, three steps forward.

Hmmm ... isn't that our weekest position in terms of cover for injury, suspensions etc?

Good Luck to Shane, looked like a good prospect.
A move to Oxford should give him regular first team football which will hopefully see him develop more quickly than in our reserves.
Dont forget, its a very decent thing for Town to do too, cancelling his contract and letting a young player move on without wanting a fee.

The few times i've seen him play he did look like a good prospect. Hopefully he will do well and move up the leagues in the future

As mentioned higher up it's always a shame to see one of "our" lads not make the grade, but he mustn't be good enough to challenge Nathan & Andy Butler - not to mention Chris Luketti & David Unsworth Good luck to the lad for the future UTT

All the best for the future to Shane. Clark must not see him in his plans and will maybe be looking at bringing some new blood to our defence in the Summer. I hope so.
