Sat watching SSN waiting to see if there are any last minute signings / loans - when we lose the signal - can't get any channels!
Going to have to go out now and try to get the 6 inches of snow off the dish!

What a great bit of Managerial skills I've just shown.... My wife hanging out of the bathroom window with an extendable window wiper, being navigated by yours truly to the Sky dish above the garage to knock off the built up snow .... and my daughter in the living room giving the thumbs up when the signal returned ;D I'm going to leave it for 10 minutes before I "tactfully" ask for the remote control back How the heck I'm going to get down there tomorrow and back if this continues .... may have to catch the train down

Look North has just been filmed from Ainley Top for the weather feature as they are expecting it to be at its worst around this area. Weather forecast showed 8 hours of constant heavy snowfall until 3.00am when it will start to rain a little but it looks like that rain wont reach as far in land as huddersfield so the snow will remain throughout the day and freeze.
Game looks like it stands little chance imo. Gives new lad more time to get to know the players before he is thrown in to our front line

Supposed to be driving down to London gatwick tomorrow (from Nottingham) for work, 2 other guys (one from Leeds and one from the Stansted area) are meant to be driving down aswell.
Don't fancy it one bit. At the moment I wouldn't reach the end of the road.

Whilst I wouldn't fancy Gatwick (nor the Mac tomorrow), here in East Leake, the end of the road would the proverbial "Piece of" (& I thought it was worse the closer you got to Leicestershire from Nottingham).

I'm on the north side of the city and from what I can make out, the snow is even more of an issue if you go further south down the country. What makes the situation worse is that my house is on a steep hill...... you can imagine.
