I think we may have to be a little patient until the first goal comes, would think we might be too strong for them and can see Alex keeping a clean sheet.. Town barmy army 3 ... Pools 0 collins, pilks and jevons to score.

Oh no! Is this gonna be like the Yeovil game when everyone says "4-0 Town"...... "Easy 3 points tonight"...... "Clean sheet," etc etc. Hartlepool have a poor away record too, uh oh.......

If we pressure them from kick off and play the ball down the wings with the quality we have with good delivery into the box and somebody be there for a change in the box in theory we should win, they may double up on Ainsworth.

4-4 Scorers: Hartlepool - Porter (42) Porter (45) Porter (47) Porter (50) Scorers: Town- Jevons (86) Jevons (89) Jevons (92) Jevons (94) There's something wrong with that....let me think....oh yeah! As if Porter will score four!? Otherwise spot on.

I think going by our midweek form (i.e Tue/Wed) in the last 2 seasons, it'll be a drab 1-0 or 2-1 win.
Last 9 midweek home games:
P9 W5 D3 L1 F9 A4 Pts 18/27 (and that one defeat was our last midweek home game, the defeat to Orient)
Not scored many, but not conceded more than once in those 9 games.
The comparison with our last 7 midweek away games is shocking:
P7 W0 D0 L7 F9 A19 Pts 0/21
So really it's no surprise that we lost at Yeovil.
What is it about Tuesday night away games that makes us perform so badly, and what makes our Tuesday night home games such dour affairs? (Only one game with more than 2 goals: 2-1 vs Brighton last season)
