Not heard much about him for a while. Anyone know what's happening with him at the moment?

Maybe he'll be on the bench tomorrow? Especially now it seems The Beast won't be available...

He’s being saved for one game: the play-off final, when Lukas goes back.

I thought it was interesting when LC said our only injury was Cadds. This is only a week after saying Boothy was close to 100% fit.

Definitely worth a place on the bench in front of either Parker or Jevons. With the amount of decent crosses we should able to provide from Ainsworth, Pilkington and Roberts he's got more chance of scoring than's been the case for a good while.

He'll want to play in this, probably his last game against the white smelly stuff from down the road. I reckon we could see him come on towards the end.

A fella at work, who listened to the radio leeds prog last night, said that oggy had said he had been watching town train, and he (oggy) said there would be a surprise in store, or words to that effect. So I assume that the surprise will be Boothy or Beasty on the bench.

I'd love to see Boothy lead the lads out tomorrow.
Surely its too good to be true though.
Or is it?

Seriously if he is fit enough to make the bench he is fit enough to start in my view. I don't see him as an impact supersub. He is simply a super player. Play him from the start and then haul him off when/if he's knackered.
I envisage a first half hat trick with his third coming from a looping header on the stroke of half time that finally snaps his glass back. He will haul himself off the deck in Rocky Balboa style and then be helped off the pitch to a fanfare of music by Gerry Murphy riding a white horse.

Can't he score the third in a 3-0 win rather than the winner?

...and then be helped off the pitch to a fanfare of music by Gerry Murphy riding a white horse. And just to spoil a special moment... "Leaving the field is number 23 Andy Booth and he's replaced today by number 7 Karen Parker!"

Think Boothy will be on the bench today. Think he might be saving scoring the winner against yids for the play off final
