what will final 16 be.
I'm sticking to my original which was/is:
Smithies
Holdsworth Clarke Butler Williams
Ainsworth Collins Goodwin Pilkington
Roberts
Jutkiewicz
subs
Glennon/T.Clarke/Craney/Booth/Jevons or Werling. Depends on whether Clark goes with caution on bench.

would prefer werling instead of robbie, seems the type of game for a fiery fella like dom. and would play robbo as a striker, and not an attacking midfielder or whatever you have him as. still a good line up.

i just feel williams has done enough recently to keep shirt. roberts not as attacking mid, more like just off Lukas.

I'd prefer Ainsworth up front purely because Pilkington is better defensively on the wing (and their main danger will be wing based) and the centre of Leeds defence is slow. He'd cause absolute havoc .

Would imagine you've got it spot on Mr Stanton. Possibly swap Pilkington and Roberts around. Either way it'll be nice to see something other than Bill and Ben up front.

I'm still holding onto the thin hope that Clarky is playing games and Tehoue's availability miraculously comes through last minute.
Wishful thinking

Depends on whether Clark goes with caution on bench. I think that's spot on brianstanton - I'd certainly go with that. I prefer Roberts roaming just behind Lukas as I think Pilks & Ains hold their width better. Even when playing wide Roberts often comes inside which leaves us lacking width.

When Tehoue is available whats going to happen then? It looks like our most consistent player (Roberts) will be struggling to get in to the team!?

It's a brilliant problem for us to have though. Could see Collins having his position threatened?

It's a brilliant problem for us to have though. Could see Collins having his position threatened? No! Collins plays CM. Roberts/Ainsworth/Pilks have no experience of playing there and frankly playing Roberts there would be an absolute disaster as he has no defensive side to his game. Same applies with Ainsworth (and his stamina ain't too hot either). Pilks may be an alternative but only covering for injuries, I don't think Clark will even contemplate dropping a 1 in 2 scoring midfielder who is by far the fittest player at the club.

i think when we get tehoe if both the new lads start i think it will be 4-4-2 with roberts on right/left and pilks on opposite, ainsworth will be used later on as his pace will destroy tired players (well it does from kickoff but you know what i mean)

We don't have to squeeze all the new signings in. Can play Roberts with whoever is doing better out of the two new forwards, or can play the two out of the 3 (4 including Cads) wingers who are playing best at the time. The last thing we should do is change system or play players in unfamiliar positions just to fit them all in.

I wouldn't expect too much from the French beast, for me anything we get from him is a complete bonus. A Scouser mate of mine reckons Everton think as much about Lukas as they do Rodwell, so I'm expecting good things from him though.

Got to be Jutkiewicz up top with roberts just behind and pilks and ainsworth down either wing. Then boothy on the bench to replace jutkiewicz if its not happening for him. Parker and Jevons can be in B&Q at 12.00 for all i care

Its good to have a number of options.
When we signed the wide players clark was questioned by some on here as to why he had done....when roberts has been our best player and cadders had been excellent - but then cadders got injured, roberts suspended. Proactive move bringing in qulaity competition and options in attacking positions.
