I'm pi**ed off with hearing that from Leeds fans on the radio today. If playing Leeds is our cup final then how come we didn't even sell our allocation at Bellend Road while their crowd was swelled by an extra 10,000 'fans' SURELY THAT MEANS ITS THEIR F**KING CUP FINAL.
I'm the biggest critic of Nathan Clarke, but today the guy was immense alongside Butler, just thought i'd mention that

their cup final, they just dont want to admit that or that they care about us-if its not their cup final, why did some of their fans buy season tickets at our place just to guarantee a seat for todays game?

It probably is, I mean look at todays attendance. Where are they every other week? Who cares though? So what if it is? As long as we win i'm happy. 1-0, 2-1, 1-0 in our cup finals! ;D

One guy on the radio said 'we don't class this as a derby. Our derby is against Man Utd'
Think Leeds fans need to face facts, they had about 8 or 9 glory years in the 70's and the same in the 90's but for the rest of their history they've been nobodies
IF THEY WANNA KEEP GOING ON ABOUT HISTORY, WE'VE HAD MORE GLORY YEARS THAN THEM ;D

Never mind this "cup-final" shite.
I will openly admit that this afternoon's game was the most important home game of the season for me.
IT MATTERS

Gah. Who cares about whose cup final it is. All i care about is that we beat the bar stewards. Couldn't agree more. This must the 20th thread on this subject this week. Does it really matter who biggest game it is? All that matters is that we win, like we did ;D Forget about the "Cup Final" bollocks. Go out & get pissed to celebrate another win against the Scum UTT

Calling it a "Cup Final" is really a way of trying to belittle fans of so-called smaller clubs when they play so-called bigger clubs.
If that makes a Leeds fan sleep better tonight, then let them keep saying it.
But at the end of the day, the history books will show that Leeds United were beaten three times in a row by West Yorkshire neighbours Huddersfield Town.
And that, my friends, is all there is to it.

Last paragraph on match report on LUFC site.
That proved to be the last action of the game, and Huddersfield celebrated as though they had won the FA Cup, while United were left to reflect on an all-deserved defeat.
Fine misprint - should it be ill-deserved?

Imagine buying a season ticket at another club, just to guarantee that you got to see a miserable 1-0 defeat ;D
Plain sad if you ask me.
