According to Clark in interview after game he has offered Alex new improved offer to try and keep him and is still trying to persuade him his future is with us.
Interesting. I think the deal offered, improved on what he originally requested and rejected wil look good in tribunal if/when it gets to that. Clever tactics from Clark asnd Hoyle. If he stays, we have one hell of a keeper, if he leaves, we get a good few bob.

Surely the decent thing for him to do would be sign a new contract then if he get an offer he cant refuse from a prem club at least we will get the transfer fee rather than tribunal fee?

I would love to keep him but if he does want to move on and Everton are interested do people think it would be a good deal if we got a good few bob for him plus Lukas Jutkiewicz?

Too early to say for me, I think Alex is more likely to go further in the future but if Lukas is banging them in for the next few months it could be an option.

Yeah I wouldnt really begrudge him that because I think he has the potential to play in the premier one day and I would like to hope that if he does leave it wont be on a sour note and we can wish him well.

Yeah, it would be nice if he atleast signed a deal here, even if it was only to get a good deal for HTFC. Pozza - nice banner, by the way. ... Good to hear it get a mention from the announcer.

Hoping and praying he'll sign a new deal. If not he'll go with my best wishes. The guy is going to the top. Wasn't sure how he'd cope today after a blunder for England in midweek, and with the Leeds fans on his back again after what happened at Elland Road last season. He coped fantastically, the lad looks the real deal.

He was tremendous without a doubt. A number of shots he gathered cleanly which were not easy to take - made them look neat and tidy.
Best save imo was the snodgrass attempt - read the situation well, fast off his line, got himself down well etc

He had a great game and could well be a top prem keeper one day, but he really has to work on his catching crosses. Seems to spill 2 almost every game

Needs to work on his kicking too, all over the place at times today. We finally have the big lad up there and he struggled to find him every time

briefly saw him after the game. my mate shook his hand, congradulated him and then said "your not going are you?" seemed reluctant to give a proper answer and basically said he didn't know. i shouted "PLEASE STAY!"
