" what annoys me is that after they scored we bossed them all game with, with serveral lucky saves a penalty not given and hitting the post. What annoys me even more is that Huddersfield actually consider themselfs our rival, i know some huddersfield fans and apparntly it was our 'cup final' we bossed them all game at home and lost and now away we bossed them and still lost."
"Time for a lot of people on here to wake up to the fact that we are a very average 1st division team. "
"Do you have to resort to facts to prove your point?"
"Have to say there's been a lot of ignorance on this thread , summed up by the phrase 'tinpot club'.
A little footie history wouldn't go amiss here. Huddersfield remember, once dominated the English game for nearly a decade - arguably, only Arsenal, Liverpool and Man U have done the same.
They were the first real 'squad club'. Before league matches were suspended for internationals they once had 10 of their regular starting 11 out on international duty - and still won 5-1.
Today they're not celebrating beating a bigger or better club. They're celebrating beating the upstart johnny-come-latelies from down the road who despite having had more recent success in the top tier - still have a daft lopsided stadium, no real class as such ... and, most importantly, have never really done anything to earn their respect. Least some of those quotes show not all Leeds fans are idiot.
Some of them are actually students of the game. Makes you wonder why they support leeds.
O well.

You can say 'if this' 'if that' all night though can't you .
Like you say who cares. 9 points from them in the last 12 will do me nicely. You'd have thought they'ed be getting used to this by now.

They definately had more chances but Collins still had a more clear cut chance at the end than any that they made. A major contributor to their pressure was the ref as well, any slight nudge on them led to a free kick, they piled everyone forward so we had to have a fair few back, which meant it took time to clear. I think a draw would probably have been a fair result; but how many times in the last few weeks have we been on the end of an unfair result?

Footballs a game of 90 minutes and once a goal is scored it changes the whole make-up of any game and the attitude of both teams. But do i care ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
