question for you all! if you had been a scout at that game y/day for a prem club. who would you be saying to your boss "this lad is going to be real class, we shud buy him now" delpth of smithies? i thought the 1st half delpth spent it running away from goodwin, and yeah in the 2nd half he did find some space but thats cos we was letting him have space and we was defending on edge of are box. thats why he found some space hes well over rated as he does not look class at all Fair enough as he has put in his two poorest performances of the season so far against you, credit to Goodwin for that. You haven't seen him at his best but I agree he can't afford to perform like that in games where he is tightly marked if he is going to play at the highest level.

Leeds fans I know that go everywhere say hes only a good player on home turf and is over-rated, Beckfords a much more important player to you.

Yes that's probably fair, he is far more effective at home, and Beckford's goals are irreplaceable. Although Beckford's finishing can be hit and miss I can't help thinking he would have put one of them away yesterday with our second half pressure, but with his stupidity he has let us down badly.

I thought we gave Delph a lot of room and time, and he didn't really do a lot with it. Not impressed.

One mention for Becchio. Fair play to the lad for giving the throw in back to us late in the game. Got some stick off his own fans for that.

Most of the L**ds side was shockingly average. Nowt special that we've seen at the Galph. I was impressed with Snodgrass and Robinson for his shots. Trundle/Fat Knacker looks well past it.

He is way too inconsistent and inexperienced to command a fee above £2.5m. Gets rave reviews in games where he does barely anything but admitedly, he does have decent potential. Alex Smithies is also too untried to command a similar fee.
I can't understand Arsenal and Man Utd wanting him though. If they only want the best kids, compare Delph to how good Fabregas or Ronaldo were at 19. Delph doesn't come anywhere near.

Delph did nothing to affect the game. Lots of fancy tricks around the halfway line but nothing further forward. Kept well away from Goodwin. He has obviously learned a lesson from elland rd. Naylor only hit the post because he was climbing all over the defender but the ref missed the foul (like a lot of other strange decisions which seemed to go one way). Butler MOM. Awesome. Totally agree. It's ok being a fancy dan in your own half but for the second time he didn't hurt us once.

I think its the English players are over-priced theory again, This is why teams from the top league go foreign.

I'd have Delph in the Town team - the lad looked quality. Thought Butler was superb yesterday, just behind smithies for MOM

Beckford makes all the difference for that lot. Without him they are very average in my opinion. Delph is a quality player too and I'd imagine you see the best of him when he has someone making runs in behind the back four (Beckford) for him to play balls into which he simply did not have yesterday. I don't think much to the rest of them to be honest although I thought that Snodgrass looked a threat at Elland Road. Beckford & Delph apart I wouldn't want to swap squads for the run in. And both Beckford & Delph sound like right bell ends anyway so I'll stick.
