Ritchie is like a one track record - waiting for any opportunity to align himself with the 'mighty' Leeds. It's embarassing.
Though not as embarassing as tonight's result for Leeds or the awful banter between Pope and Ritchie...

Can't get Radio Leeds here but don't really need to as I can guess whay Richtea was saying.
"If WE had Beckford we would have won" "If their goalie hadn't had a good game WE would have won" "If their 2 centre backs hadn't been outstanding WE would have won" "If Snodgrass had a right foot WE would have won" "If WE had scored 3 goals WE would have won"etc, etc.Come on Town it's all to play for.TTID.

Ritchie is a tit. He won't admit when Leeds do something cack. When he got a txt saying "Snodgrass fails to get the corners beyond the first defender" he ignores the point at hand about that particular player failing to beat the first defender and said "a lot of teams in this league have failed to beat the first defender" ANSWER THE POINT RITCHIE... THEY WEREN'T TALKING ABOUT EVERYBODY ELSE!!! Also Roberts managed to beat the defender of 16 minutes on Saturday

It always winds me up when people(Richtea) say they would have won if the opposition goalie hadn't been outstanding or the centre backs.Richtea was full of it on Saturday. How come when a player scores a hat-trick people don't say "If he hadn't scored a hat-trick we would have won"They don't say it because it sounds daft.So why pick out Goalies and defenders who are really only doing what they are paid for as Kieron pointed out to Richtea and laughed at him Saturday.

Yeah it winds me up too. "If the keeper hadn't of done his joband had of moved out of the way of the ball, we could have had 6 or 7". Moronic tw@

Popey's a good commentator TBH, he's just restricted by the T's & C's.
Interesting how they must have gotten over them contractual restrictions sat, when O Regan did half with Popey and Ogden did the other half with Ritchie. Presume that's how they got round it.
Ah well, 2 defeats in a row, Cheltenham hoping to do 'em at ER again this sat, they look to be achieving just the right level of consistency...

i know it's well after the event, but, I was at the match on sat and listening on my zen to the comentary. They swapped the commentary teams around. Pope was with Kieran and Oggy was with Ritchtea. Adam pope was by far and away the best, keeping up in time and providing good insight to the game. Oggy was well behind with the play but the best bit was when Werling came on. Oggy said, and i kid you not,
town bring on the german sub !

Eddie Grey was good I thought. what happened to him? Always said it how it was and never slow to say how crap Leeds were if it was warrented. Ritchie is so blinkered and 100% biased his opinions are worthless. A crap manager and now a crap pundit.

Isn't the restriction that they cannot do L666ds home games and as the Town match was an away game and team that they are contracted for anyway - they can choose who they want to commentate

Last night it was thinking of songs containing the word 'moon' I despair, I tell thee. Doesn't anyone else find it a little pathetic that despite being denied the rights to cover the games live, Radio Leeds still broadcast on match days... from a pub...! Now excuse me while I just go off to find my 'Points of View' hat... there, found it. Right where was I? Oh yes. Dear Radio Leeds Head Controller Person Why do you insist on subjecting the good football loving public of West Yorkshire (and beyond) to 8 40 second summary reports transmitted from a pub, funded by tax payers' hard earned cash, when in fact, you could be using the FM frequency to instead transmit LIVE Town or *shudders* Bradford games? Yes, yes, I know that these are transmitted on the alternative frequencies but this isn't much good for those who live outside of Yorkshire is it? Say for example, oh I don't know, Milton Keynes - who have to listen online and are forced to endure the most irritating non-entity of former football manager. Yours disgruntled, Rage O'Whingebags PAH!

Nothing sinister, Bristol... your post just echoed this post from Lodgey after the Leeds game last Saturday. It was uncanny, that's all. Lodgey's post:'It's almost as if your goalie and defenders aren't allowed to play well. If they do, the opposition have been cheated out of a victory. What a nonsense. You never hear, "Their striker had a great game today, he scored a fantastic hat trick, but we'd have won if he hadn't." And why don't we hear it? Because it's nonsense.' Your post:It always winds me up when people(Richtea) say they would have won if the opposition goalie hadn't been outstanding or the centre backs.Richtea was full of it on Saturday. Hope that clears up your confusion.

That link was way to subtle for me too I'm afraid KB so thanks for clearing it up ;D Though I have to warn you, that's the first sign of spending too much time on this board - when you start referring to individual responses made in an entirely different thread on a different day Having said that, I think a lot of people here know what I mean when I say "And then they was me".... ;D

Still on t'street Klever? I saw him on ITV3 this aft in what must be some new comedy programme . He must be using some age defying treatment of some sorts because the years look to have tumbled off him! As Sergeant Wilson would say 'It's not the monkey glands is it?' ;D
