Well there's certainly an inverse relationship between the rates of inflation and the waistline of Unsworth.

Honestly all they're doing now is hindering the development of academy kids by taking up two places in the stiffs IMO. I mean Codman was on the bench for the reserves the other day and we have a few other highly rated centre backs in the last year of there scholar ship, Franks, Harris and Ridehaulgh
Harsh but I don't see Unsworth getting selected again for Town and for Lucketti to get a game two out of the Clarkes and Butler would need to be out

I'd much prefer for the kids to have these spaces and games. Even more so when you consider the wage differences between Unsworth/Lucketti and some of the kids.

Couldn't they pass on valuable experience though?

injuries/suspensions happen alot towards end of season so i think it makes sense to be giving chunk and lucketti game time. surely they would be a better option than an untried player in the games coming up if needed?

My thoughts exactly. As proved on saturday when Lionel & Gazza went off injured, the positions in a squad can soon become threadbare. Much better to have experienced back up at this stage of the season.
