Will he ever play? Has anyone heard anything about this because it all seems to have gone very quiet Are we paying wages to a player who might not actually be able to play for the club?? Seems very odd we wont be paying him surely the contract will have stated subject to international clearence

It's on a thread from a few days back, entitled Tehoe (sic). Some guy watching a training session asked Glennon what had happened to the Frenchie; the reply was as above.

Matt Glennon leaks the news about Tehoue and just days later he's in hospital for an operation. This new management team don't take many prisoners, do they?

Only to reattach his leg.
That Blackie may look a happy chappy, but underneath there's an evil side to him when angered.

I can't understand why Glennon would say this, completely in contrast to what Clark has been saying in interviews, and what Andy Holdsworth said in the Examiner last week

At least we actually got to see Kwame play selected for a game If i remember rightly, it was about 20 minutes of a game! 20 minutes more than Tehoue looks like playing though!

What a joke situation.
I am Town through and through but you have to say that our search for a striker has been an absolute joke.
After all the bigging up by some people based on a 2 minute You Tube clip !!!

Seems very odd Heard that his agent failed to mention Tehoue is still contracted to his existing club and is in dispute with them, so it's dead in the water. Don't know if that means it can/will be resurrected if/when it gets resolved.

I saw Hodoutu - played the first half of a Coca Cola Cup game at Notts County. He didn't look that bad though wasn't fit enough to make anywhere near 90 minutes. Legend has taken over since and he has become the biggest donkey to ever play for Town. I think we lost the game but can't remember for sure. Gore made his debut too.

He'd be shit anyway, no great loss, just another useless foreign journeyman.

Spot on digger, I was there too Think Gorre scored as well - remember thinking that he looked a class act that night. You're right though, we definitely lost the game, although I can't remember the score. Either 2-1 or 3-1 I think. Remember making the short trip back home with my dad (belvoirterrier) though excited about the prospect of Gorre - and how right were we!! ;D

Just checked it out on soccerbase and araucaria is right - 2-2 draw. Also, according to this, Hodoutu played 78 minutes. So even the stuff about him not being able to play more than 45 mins was a myth. www.soccerbase.com/results3.sd?gameid=266885

I remember Hodouto coming on as a sub in a home game at right back and going on a barnstorming run and smacking an ungainly left footed shot over the bar from 25 yards and people remarked at how much better than Jenkins he looked... Then he never appeared again.

Don't know why the OS can't put up the latest news on Tehoue ??
Even just to say still awaiting clearance. Or has he gone? Seems very strange this one.
Will somebody ask at the Stockport HTSA meeting? I'm going to try and get there and I certainly will.

Consider this :
When you have to hand over used £10 notes to even set foot on turkish soil, what sort of shenanigans do you think goes on within their football clubs when their government are blatantly on the take ??
Tehoue certainly wanted to join Town and there is no blame apportioned in his direction - by all accounts he was a decent lad. His agent hoodwinked him and our club and convinced JT that his contract issues were not a bother and also conned Town. JT has ended up shelling out all his living & travel expenses out of his own pocket and not taken a bean from us.
So to put him up alongside Hoduoto is rather unfair, as is blaming our management.
