Am glad i dont feel like that sunflower! Sounds like the type of person that would give up on the first hurdle! Bad day yesterday ;D , but i stand by everthing i wrote, i'd love to be proved wrong but after 30 years of it i very much doubt it. I'll be there at Stockport singing and cheering regardless, that's supporting Town...........great isn't it Things will change under Clark, i'm sure, but not this season.

Basically we need at least 7 points from next weeks massive games or thats it imo. No reason why we shouldnt do that but knowing Town we wont ! Whatever happens im very very optomistic re Clark and his men and our club for next season, also its great that we have the banter and discussion with a club from Newcastle like gateshead who have 2 of our players... Geordies are absolute top class people and great sense of humour !! TTID

The grammar on 'child's' is perfectly acceptable.

No team (i dont think) has ever been in the playoffs with a negative goal difference, that says it all though. next years Leicester hopefully! Highly unlikely that any team would be in the p/o with - GD, unless the results are freakish of course, so if Town were to get into the p/o this season, they would have doubtless won enough games to turn it round to a +. The other thing to consider about all this, "we'll take all before us next season" stuff, is to look at the bottom of the Championship today. Regardless of the fact that these teams are obviously on a downer, they are all decent clubs whose fans will have similar expectations as ours if they get relegated. I agree that we're outsiders for the p/o this season, but if we do, the season effectively starts again as a mini-cup competition. I don't have a stat that shows how many 6th placed teams have won promotion from the p/o's, but I'll imagine that it's a fair few and not just restricted to the 6th placed teams who sneaked in on the back of a late run. All still to play for, GD is shocking and will cost us a point, but we're not out of this by a long way at this point.
