Back page of todays Examiner explains that Town are waiting for a FIFA hearing about Tehoue and that he has gone back to Paris to prepare for a more permanent move to England.

Isn't Kabba the large black rock muslims walk around in Mecca? I think the large black rock we (should) have will be great for us..............

on the os now as well says it could take up to sixty days! think there just softening the blow for one they say he's not gained international clearance, especially the last paragraph saying that he has been of no cost to the club lol would have liked to seen him play but oh well - plenty more fish in the sea

IF his agent can sort it out quickly, then we shall see JT playing for Town. The ball is now firmly in their court.

This is worrying, its not enjoyable watching our competitors picking up decent loan signings.
I'll reserve my judgement to the end of the loan window but current thoughts are.... ....Are we trying to go up this season?

Lepoivre - dont know how to do the whole quote thing but yeah i agree after reading it properley - just skimmed it and saw the sixty days bit before, but yeah it kind of guilt trips the agent - 'the speed could greatly affect his future' would be great to same him in a town shirt normally prefer the young skillfull players signing (pilks and ainsworth) but this signing really got me wanting to see him play - pace and power and really powerful shot, scare the defenders. dont get me wrong i still really enjoy ainsworth and pilks and hink their class players - would just give us a much greater threat up front

They're holding out for some cash and if we're not prepared to pay it we won't get him, I think that's what it'll boil down to.

It depends what the terms of his contract were and seeing if there was anything in there that means he could leave on a free. But why would he leave knowing he was contracted with that club to join us?

The fact that we "invested time by our team in getting him fit" might help negotiations with FIFA but how is the Beast now keeping fit in Paris?
Don`t answer that.

Quote from Clibbens on the OS;
‘The dispute between Jonathan and his former club was not brought to the Club’s attention throughout his trial or during the process of signing him, which clearly disappoints us.’
So which party is responsible for this deception; Tehoue, his former club or his agent? Either way I think Town have had the wool pulled over their eyes and if it's the player doing the pulling I think we should stay well clear - he could be a Leon Knight type, causing problems wherever he is.

Well, either Tehoue was aware that he was still contracted to Konyaspor and has done us over; or his agent knew but had told Tehoue that he was a free agent, and Tehoue is an innocent party.
I guess that Konyaspor could have told both Tehoue and his agent that he was no longer on the books whilst actually keeping him on - but it doesn't make sense to me.

I think we should just drop the whole thing. If either the player or agent have been messing us about it doesn't bode well for future contract negotiations. He was supposed to be playing now when we needed something different up front. If the playoffs really are beyond us the boat's sailed. We should just look around in the summer.

I don't think Tehoue would have anything to gain by leading us on only for us to find he's still contracted to another club. I think some agent has been playing silly beggers with us, and to be honest, I can't see anything coming of the whole thing.
