Cantbelieve the over reaction on here about today, we played some really good stuff today and dominated most of the game the problem which has been the same as all season is not killing teams off. We should have won 3-0 today pilkington should have scored twice and roberts just always trys too much add to the fact we hit the post and had a goal disaloud really dont see how can be so negative. Clark brought a defender on to look after what we had it was individual mistakes which cost us 3 points today not Lee Clark.

We should have won 3-0 today Thats the thing though J mate, how many times have we come out a game this season saying we should have won. Its alright saying that, but until we actually start doing it, we're not going to get anywhere. It also says a lot that we played really well, created loads of chances and yet we still didn't win I have faith in Clark though, and although its over this season, I think he will have learnt a hell of a lot from his short time in charge & next season we have the potential to be a very good side.

This is actually embarrassing.
A lot of judgemental, spiteful bullshit being spouted from people not even at the game. People that think they're football managers, when in fact, they're barely able to construct a sentence.
If you're going to be so irrational, so cringeworthy, and so abusive, stay away from our club. We don't need you.

We don't need you. Agreed. So much garbage in this thread, with people giving match analyses on a game they weren't even at. I'm going to re-iterate this point, and i'll bring it up again in my match report tomorrow: Clark got the tactics bang on, including the change in shape and bringing on Lucketti. It was a freak goal. Pling especially, I usually think you talk sense, but on this occasion, you're so far off the mark you'd need 2 buses and a train just to get within shouting distance.

C'mon guys, let's all calm down. I understand everyones pissed off about taking the lead and not winning AGAIN, only scoring one goal a game AGAIN and conceding in injury time AGAIN, but I've thought the play offs have been over for a couple of weeks now - the best way for everyone to think (bar the players and management) is that we just need to keep building and progressing for next season. We can't blame an away draw at a top 8 side for ruining our season - we had too much to make up from the first 15 or so games. The fact we are in the position we are in now is thanks to Murphy & Clark for the progress we have made.
If we had a 20 goal a season striker, we would have wrapped more games up, but the fact is we haven't currently got that luxury. However, Clark has tried to remedy this but the club have sensibly not paid over the odds in the transfer window.
I am trusting Dean & Lee to get the strikers we need to put away the fantastic chances we are creating. I would personally strengthen at the back too, but our current defence will look a lot better when we are defending 2 or more goal leads. Once we start to win back-to-back wins, the confidence in the team will soar and we will look a much better outfit. Just look at the type of football we are playing at home now (although admittedly not for 90 mins a game currently) and tell me we are not improving this season.
