lets all start saying how bad Clark is and how he gets it wrong away from home, lets start the Clark out chants!
For crying out loud its the guys first season in charge of any football team. under st we would of been facing a relegation battle but instead we are looking at a top half finish which after the start of the season is a good place to finish.
This season is a learning curve for town and Clark and we will learn from any mistakes made and push on for next season so lay off the stick and be patient look forward to a championship winning season next season

Where has anyone called for him to be sacked Only thing I can see is people asking why he changed things around when we were in control of the game? Was no need to do that & it was obvious Stockport would come on to us when we made the change. With our defence as it is, we cant afford to sit back and let teams attack us, we need to attack them!! Sounds like we played well today, but 1 desicion from the manager has cost us. Hopefully Clark will have learnt from that & he wont make the same mistake again.

pling you start new job do u get everything right 6 months into it? If I came from a similar one, I should be making mostly correct decisions, yes. Don't give me this new job bullshit, he's been in the game, what, 20 years!! Or did he spend his playing days running around like a headless chicken?

It seems every season turns out to be a learning curve if we don't quite cut the mustard and personally i'm bored of it. I'm far from calling for the managers head because everyone deserves time to get it right and i'm confident he will... but I dread to think what the excuses will be if we don't get promoted next season. Not that we have a god given right to just because we have spent so much on player and back room staff.

frustrating thing is, this sounds like one we should have won. I don't think this single result makes the season any more or less over than it was, but the goal difference and less games to play means it's pretty much slipping away now.
But.....
IF we can get the away form sorted (we weren't comprehensively beaten today) and IF we can keep the great home form, we still - yes, it's slim - but we STILL have a chance!!

It was quite obvious that Stockport were starting to put pressure on us and putting in balls in the box so it seemed like a pretty good idea to me to bring on Ainsworth for the last 10 to giv us a bit of pace up front and bring on a defender who is good in the air and has loads of experience. Its not like he took off all our attacking players is it. We still had Boothy up front, Pilkington and Ainsworth who both dont like to defend so we didn't exactly go defensive did we!
I think it just gonna take a while for us to find that belief that we are not gonna concede coz at the mo i still think the fans and players still have that feeling that we are Town and we always mess it up and we are gonna piss it away in the last min and reactions like what people are having now doesn't help anyone.

its coz its so easy to blame the manager
to me, as pal8485 says, it was a good decision - if we won everyone would have loved it, but we didnt, so it was obviously that that cost us, the players had the chances to score and finish the game
we kept to up top when we bought lucketti on, it wasnt a stick everyone behind the ball decision, but they were putting pressure on, so a defensive sub seemed like the right thing to do.

The fact that we conceded a that late goal today is the players' fault, not Clark's.
