Roberts was our best player most weeks before his suspension. Now we have Pilkington who was awesome today down the right and Roberts looking garbage on the left. God knows what he was doing when one on one with the keeper and decided to cut on to his right flipping muppet, SHOOT!!! Pilkington was class first half, skinned his man most times and played some quality balls across the pitch. Clark was asking for it bringing on another defender and sitting back, from what i've seen of him as manager so far, he is quite a negative manager when we get in front. Leeds, Peterborough, Leicester and now today, we have sat back and brought it on ourselves.

And we have taken 7 out of 12 points from 4 difficult games.
We need new players, Clark knows that, Hoyle knows that, I know that, everyone knows that.

Spot on RJS - we simply dont have enough good players in enough positions to win promotion!!! If we can get a good full back, a big aggressive centre half, and two strikers then the good players we have should flourish and we may make the championship. One thing is for sure - this year or next it wont be easy and our fans need to understand that. This year is over for me now and if norwich, soton and charlton come down it wont be any easier next season but hey ho it will suit us to be underdogs against those teams!!!

Aye - we dont have enough good players, that much is true. How Ternent and Clark have contrived to bring in around 15 players between them - and not one of them capable of scoring more than 2 league goals before March - is a complete mystery to me. Add to that - Our midfield gets overrun far too easily away from home, a defence that concedes goals for fun, and then, even when we look like keeping a clean sheet, lose concentration in the 91st minute and score an own goal! You couldn't make it up - typical of us again today - you just have to laugh ;D ;D ;D All this "go up next season....storm next season...." etc - how many seasons have we been saying this for? Add to your list another centre back, another fullback and a dominant central midfielder - and we may have a chance
