I feel sorry for the lad. He signs a new contract then promptly gets booked and scores an own goal equalizer and all that after putting in some solid performances. Glad I'm not a footballer

He was quite poor today. Struggled on that pitch and sliced lots of passes

By all accounts it hit him in the face... no chance of getting out of the way.

I disagree. I thought considering the conditions, he played very well and was extremely unlucky with the own goal. That pitch was absolutely horrendous. I'm surprised anyone could actually play any sort of 'decent' football on there! But hero to zero in 2 weeks takes some doing though!
