You outclassed us all over the park, and your support was top class as well. It was great to see Pilks return to EP, and he really should have taken 3 points back up the M62. I almost felt guilty when we scored.
You're a good side and you will be play off contenders. Good luck for the rest of the season, and particularly to Pilks.

Fair comment mate. All the best to you as well but perhaps that play-off berth.

aye - all the leicester fans said the same int it - why cant we go out there and battle and fight our way to a few undeserved ugly victories?
we need to become a more nasty, clinical side - something i dont think our (nice lads though they probably are) have got in them...

We needed a 2nd goal to kill em off. Our forwards have been shocking this season - I'm still blaming Stan ;D

Typical bloody town, at least for this season.
We need to hope the Beast gets clearance.

As for the pitch, we blame those egg chasers that share our ground for that.

Roberts should have shot with the outside of his left foot instead of putting it onto his weaker foot (his right) when he was about 4 yards out. Today we have a lot of positives to take away. I was fuming earlier saying that's me done with not going to anymore away games but I just thought. What else is there better to do on a saturday afternoon? ;D
Roberts to the bench for tuesday after his recent performances. Push cads/ainsy upfront with Yooks and put pilkington on the left? Best performance from Pilks this season at town yet, was unlucky not to score.
Got to admit their left back was a class act today and looked too good for league one, Michael Rose?

Thanks for that ismscfc---appreciate that---to be fair we were lucky to draw 1st game of season at ours against you so fair enough. Our support COULD be phenomenol if Clark can become 1st manager since Buxton/Greaves to tap into our potential.

Got to admit their left back was a class act today and looked too good for league one, Michael Rose? Hmm...Interesting one that. Rosey has been in and out of the team all season, and separates our fans. Personally, I thought he was dire in the first half and excellent in the second, but too good for league 1, nah. Our most dangerous threat is Oli Johnson (no 34) who came on after 1 hour, not fully fit according to Gannon. In his interview on County World, James Tunnicliffe (defender, no 16) reckons that we can beat you lot to a play off place, as you were a decent side, and we're both more than in the reckoning for it. Make of that what you will.

Quite simply... we weren't clinical enough in front of goal (why does that seem somewhat familiar?! ) Many thanks for the hospitality and all the best for the rest of the season and for the future of Stockport County. Hope everything works out for the best for you!

It would be nice if he could at least play enough games so LC can see for himself if he deserves another contract.
