Worrying. Is the club sustainable long term without NO revenue coming from the stadium?? No Do we have options Mids, or are we essentially in the hands of Davy?

No Do we have options Mids, or are we essentially in the hands of Davy? Both. We are in the hands of Mr Davy. But where there's a will, there's a way.....and there's plenty of will A full exposé in a national newspaper in the near future will be a good start.

When will this article be published? Very soon all being well. Meeting the journalist this week, so it's then up to his work pressures.

I think we need something in the Examiner too, as a large amount of local support still doesn't understand just what Davy has done/ is doing to this club.
I don't think they'd be keen at least until Dean Hoyle became majority shareholder.

Surely the kdsl is largely funded by town??? Their other activities and even the giants cannot surely afford the running and costs?!? In a perfect world we would just walk away and leave them with a big empty expensive shell.

Well I think that tight arse Dean Hoyle should get his hand in his pocket and get the "Card Factory Stadium" built ASAP

South stand is impossible for season ticket holders next season, as nowhere else to put away fans, due to the way the stadium was apparently built with H&S. Not necessarily....in fact Sean said they were looking into the options available to them. How the Safety Committe can complain at Town though when home & away fans sgared the very same turnstile yesterday is a disgrace....we even had to walk through the home section of the stand to reach our own seats!! i can not see why away fans cant have the south end of the direct golf lower. they will still be on that the end of town the cops want, they will still be segregated, they can hold them back better as large space and indoors behind the stand. and we wouldnt be the only club which had home and away fans above or below each other it makes sense!

In a perfect world we would just walk away and leave them with a big empty expensive shell. In about 2 years or maybe shorter Davy will walk away from HTAFC and it will feel like an empty shell anyway. Andrew Watson stated that HTAFC shouldn't be detached from The Stadium but when Davy leaves both The Giants and HTAFC will be Detached from The Stadium as they both then become tenants to a private landlord. If nothing is done to challenge the actions then HTAFC will be heading for administration again and possible liquidation.

We can't afford a new ground and Kirklees Council would probably turn down every effort to get one on the strength of what their relationship is with Davy.

nice to know we could be potentially crippled by a liar who never had the clubs best interests at heart then

"Around how they used to be". If so I won't be renewing for the first time since we moved grounds. Bad move. Strange viewpoint One season at half price and then back up to same levels as 2 years ago. Doesn't seem unreasonable to me Nothing strange about it, if season ticket prices had frozen for the 2008-2009 season at the 2007-2008 seasons prices I definitely wouldn't have bought one this season (despite having had one since we moved), so why would not buying one at a price 'around what they were before' be strange? They were overpriced 2 years ago and would be overpriced if relaunched at that same price this season. The last time they were fairly priced was the first season we moved. Index link that and you get what should be the fair price, and its a lot less than £250. I think I decided that anything above £250 (in the Kilner) wouldn't have seen me renewing, which is probably a similar viewpoint to what I'll take this time...

So the pressure needs to be put on Hood Robin to remember the "giving" part of his role. Really looking forward to this article. Give us a heads up when its published.
Why should we pay for the stadium again!!!
No doubt Davy would endorse that idea though.

Why isnt hoyle doing more to make all our fans aware of the situation?
The main problem at the moment is that only 5-10% of towns support really know whats gone on and the current situation. I'd have thought Deano would want everyone to know what Davy has done

If nothing is done to challenge the actions then HTAFC will be heading for administration again and possible liquidation. Is it really that bad FC Huddersfield anyone? I call Striker ;D EDIT - Is there anywhere I can read up on this subject, I dont know nearly enough about it at the moment.

It will be very interesting to hear what his views on the shares are when he takes the majority control.

Just to break away from the stadium issues, if tickets go up to £300 (which I doubt they will), over 2 seasons you will have spent £200 per season.
The centenary prices were a gesture by the club (be it DH or KD) to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the birth of this great club.
For the club to survive, and progress, it can't continually suffer losses like it will do this season.
If you had asked me if Ritchie or Ternent were in charge, would I renew at £300? I couldn't honestly say yes. As it stands now, on the pitch I'm seeing progress and have faith that the feeling I had when we lost on that day to Birmingham will be replaced with the joy of seeing us returned to the championship.
Just because of this, I will definately renew next season. I'll probably even go to more away games than I have this season.
Just back to the stadium issue - Bradford can bankroll cheaper season tickets because they take all the money from their ground. Yes they pay rent but (as far as I'm aware) not at the level we do.

Be interesting to see how Davy tries to explain himself when presented with all the facts. I will put money on him justifying it through the money he has invested this season
