For the first time in years we sat in a front row and could see how shattered some of the players were in the last twenty minutes

The thing is, I think Clarke did well with the subs. Just didn't do them quick enough and let them tire too much.

Pitch was alright.
Didn't look pretty cos of the lack of grass, but it looked a nicer surface to run on than the rock hard Galpharm pitch (is it being replaced this summer or next summer?).

It was fine. I'd love to play on a surface like that.
It didn't look pretty, but its nothing that a few bits of green plastic couldn't put right.

the pitch was a mess,i was sat at the front aswell & you could see cads & pilks stuggling to control the ball as it bobbled about.

CLARK has already said they cannot work the players too hard on fitness because it is mid season and he would burn them out. Next season Blackie will be sorting out the pre-season trainig and I reckon then we may not have the same problems.

A loteople want everything to fall into place now.I just wish they would stop for a minute and think about how short the management have been here and that the preparation done in pre-season is a very important time for the season.
