BBC have a predictor on there website - honest assessment of how results could go, I ended up with us on 72 points (with a couple of generous away wins at Hereford and Orient)
not sure this is enough?

To have even a glimmer of hope we now need 2 home wins this week.... youd think we could beat Colchester and Millwall at home but we need to start scoring and cant just rely on Mickey Collins.... just plain silly imo. if come next saturday at 5pm we have 6 more points we can still talk about it imo, any dropped points then no way !!

really do like the optimism lads but its gone now for this season barring a remarkable finish which means winning at MK Dons ? Can you honestly see that ? Suppose you never know with Town and hope youre right

i dont know if we will make the playoffs - footballs a strange game - but im still hoping and will support the town till its mathimatically impossible. yesterday we could have been 3 or 4 -0 up. i can see us absolutley destroying a team soon, when everything will go right - a striker might score!!! colchester and milwall are must win, hopefully we'll destroy milwall gaining confidence and knocking theres right down, big six pointer that game, i can see milwall slipping away rapididly if we win that one

Can still see one team getting a big run together and ending up in playoffs. The good thing with this league is that most teams are capable of beating each other (Look at the form of Crewe, Southend, Walsall and Bristol Rovers).
We have 13 games left, i reck we need 27 pts min. If we get thru next 4 games (Colch, Millwall, MK and Tranmere) with maybe 9 then can see us doin it with the runin we got.

72 points? Get real, we'll probably end up with about 65, this season is over now. Still possible but if you can't score more than 1 goal per game, you no bloody chance!

We wont make the play offs, so roll on next season. I can see us getting 70 points, but our away form will let us down.

We should have walked into the play offs this season, look at the form of teams like Millwall, Peterborough, Stockport and Oldham. They have effectively handed it on a plate to us, and we've thrown the opportunity away.
I'm dissapointed to be honest, we should have seized the opportunity, cos at christmas, if we'd known how many points the teams mentioned above we're going to drop, you'd have put your shirt on us being in a play off spot by now.

It all boils down to a decent striker, or our lack of one, as to why we'll probably miss out. the rest of the team is fine IMO. As good as any of the teams who will get in the play offs, but up front we have NOTHING. Think thats the story of this season- how first Turnip and then Clark can have spent SO MUCH money and brought in SO MANY players, yet we still don't have a striker who would get double figures if he played every minute of every game! On the face of it, a draw at Stockport isn't a bad result, though it feels like a defeat with their goal being so late. I still think if we had a decent striker, we would get enough points to finish top 6. But we haven't, so whilst its still possible, I just can't see it happening now.
