Any one going to the town legends do tomorrow night at town ground? Not normally the sort of do i would go to. Can't justify paying £57 for a ticket, when i can waste it on going to watch town at stockport lol. ;D ;D ;D ;D But an old mate of mine, rang me up out of the blue and had a free ticket for me. Couldn't turn the offer down Lol. Last time i went to a do at the stadium. George best, god bless him was one of the after dinner speakers. Was well funny, George having a rant on the mic about how shit the george hotel was lol. Plus George was V PISSED up too! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Seems to be the standard price for a do that the club organises.

Did anyone go? Had a right laugh. Frank worthington and pissed up Mark Lillis stole the show. Ken davy even made a guest appearance and asked me if i was having a good time lol. Lee clark made a speech too, made all the right noises. Lots other funny incidents from other town legends too. The alex higgins n george best story on the aeroplane was the funniest moment of the night though, hands down. Which was told by frankie. Also frankie's faux crocodile/suede jacket was funny as fuck too. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yes a good night was had by all (some more than others ) Although went on too long. Nice to see Ray Wilson get a standing ovation, including LC and Terry Mac. The MC was very good, but Kindo and Hanvey talked over each other too many times. Boothy was there till the end and admitted that he probably wouldn't be selected for tonight as Lee Clark hadn't told him not to attend. Sandy, you missed Tom Cowan (however he was introduced as Tim Cowan) Was sat near Uncle Ken who was shaking his head after LC referred to the owner pointing to Dean Hoyle (who was at the other end of the banqueting suite), also shook his head when Keith Hanvey mentioned what a great chairman we have in Dean.

Oooh get Uncle Ken getting all touchy during his final countdown

It was a great night, I was sat on the next table to LC ,TM, DF, SB, and DH who all looked to be enjoying themselves. Frank Worthington's and Mark Lillis' interviews were class.

Was it a perk Daz? or did you have to splash the cash? No, it was a "Big 40" birthday present from Geoff and Barbara. I was originally going to drop Geoff and Roy at the do, but Barbara then said they were going to get me a ticket for my birthday, a very welcome gift, plus I got to mix it with the Legends, pre event in 3 boxes that were set up for the Legends to gather. I had a long chat with Keiran O'Reagan and Tom Cowan before sitting down for meal. 320 turned up for the night, which I was surprised at considering the cost, but I think everyone who was there will agree, it was worth every penny.
