thank god he's gone. A pathetic signing from mr stan ternent. bet he was on a superb wage an all. billed by stan as a FAST STRIKER! he ain't a striker, he's fat and IMO he ain't fast! apparently if we go up his wage doubles!

Plus you have to look at it this way too, the pools play the trams tomorrow! could he do us a favour in that sence? In the next 4 few weeks they play Tranmere, Peterborough, Stockport and Millwall. He could do better for us out of a Town shirt than he did in a Town shirt ........ I'd prefer it if Hartlepool played a goalscorer in those games though!

Glad to see the back of Parker, his positional sense was atrocious and his lack of ability to stay onside the most frustrating thing about watching Town this season for me. One of those players who seemed to rate himself far more than he actually produced, I imagine he was on top money so hopefully it clears the way for someone who has the skill to match the wedge!!

...I agree, I doubt anyone will be coming in THIS season, but still his wages are hopefully off the bill from this point on...
Maybe there's been another behind the scenes bust-up/sulk-off from K-ego-an Parker due to lack of games and Clarky won't stand for it so has got rid of the useless bassa!

Inevitable - potential for sure but has never looked entirely interested and properly meshed with the team.
An expensive signing, along with many others from ST...
Perhaps this is the start of getting ready for next season?

Most of us will have seen the Keigan Parker who destroyed us a couple seasons ago when playing for Blackpool - where has that guy gone? If he's have turned up this season we'd have been closer to the play offs than we are now.
Hartlepool fans seem to be creaming themselves over his signing, how little they know....

He'll be under less pressure there than at The Galpharm and probably score a bagful, just the way football is. Remember Diego Forlan, couldnt hit a barn door at Man U, next season in Spain he wins the European Golden Boot!!

We'll definitely be finishing a striker light, Deano or Clibbens confirmed on Saturday that there will be no loan strikers coming in this season, but we will be looking to sign at least 2 next season.

Glad hes on loan, hopefully get rid of 'im.
I get the impression that he'll jus play for anyone, and all he is bothered about is getting payed.

I've been disappointed with Parker this season but I think if I was him and had scored a hat trick for the Reserves in mid-week and didn't even make the bench on Saturday I wouldn't be too pleased.

I can see your point Chris, but having watched that game Bradford's reserve 'defence' were truly woeful. It would be like him bagging a hat trick against the Dog and Duck. Glad he's gone, a massive disappointment since he signed, forever offside, on the floor, uninterested.

ffs we carnt score and he lets a striker out on loan,by the looks of it parker is out of favour and thats probably his town career over, i hope clark doesnt live to regret it as i rate parker. Just out of interest, how would keeping Parker improve our chances of scoring? Rather have Glennon up front meself!!!!!

Yep that is correct. They also said that they "didn't think Matt Jansen has a future with Huddersfield" The only striker that we may get this season is the Beast. But that is remote chance as he is no longer training with us, Deano said games are running out for him and the clearance issue. Therefore no new strikers this season guys.

midge glennon would be better up front cos he couldnt be any worse than he is in goal, anyway smithies has sorted that prob out,as for parker , if you bagged 3 in the stiffs and still not make the bench wouldnt you wanna leave also,i hope he plays out of his skin up there for them.

I was thinking the other day we should loan him to Sadford, they need strikers and hopefully he would bang them in in that league - increasing his confidence and hopefully getting them promoted so we can play them next season!

As has been said, it's unlikely his scoring *for the first team* will suddenly improve for no reason. If he impresses elsewhere they might just take him off our hands during the summer. How on earth we'll ever shift Jevons is another matter.

He's playing in 'the stiffs' cos was not scoring enough for the 1st team!!! I was speaking to a bloke recently who has been doing some analysis for Clark and the amount of crosses we've been putting in and not converting is unbelievable.......17 in the 1st half against Oldham alone!!! I do feel he could do a job as a '2nd striker' but your argument was that he is going to solve the goal scoring problem which we both know ain't gonna happen!!!!!!!!!

On the other side if Parker isn't good enough, who is? Why don't we get rid of the whole strikeforce as none of them can score goals! Might as well put the goalscoring midfielders further up the field and play our excess of midfielders in their place, total shambles this is!!

All we need is a good standard 3rd Division striker, like most other teams in our division have!

If we don't get a loan striker in I have one question?
Does Clark want to go up this season?
Seems to me he wants to give the impression that this season doesn't count in order to take the pressure off and give it a crack next year?
Other clubs in our league seem to be getting decent loans in. We've had 2 months now since the transfer window opened and we've managed to get an inexperienced youngster who looks knackered after 20 minutes and a French guy who didn't bother mentioning he was contracted to another club.
This is not good enough and I'm struggling to see this management team attraction to coming to play for Huddersfield.
