It's been ON for many weeks now but as always it's in our hands and it's the games against the likes of Hereford,Southend and Cheltenham where we cannot seem to raise our game to get the right result.Play offs are a bonus.Next year will be our year.TTID.

What a weird game football is. Every other weekend we don't do the business and most people (me included) decide that is it for the season, then every midweek it gets back on again without us even playing!

Hereford, Southend and Cheltenham each of who we've beaten already this season. Its a myth that we struggle more against the weaker teams, especially this season. We've only beaten 3 of the 9 teams above us. That's been more of a problem this time around.

One team will put a run together a snatch a spot, guarantee it. Unfortunately it looks more likely to be Southend than us at the moment. They and Crewe are the form teams!

Its ON. Lets not give up until we are well and truly buried. Obviously if the fans feel we have a chance the players will believe they have too. Lets get behind them tomorrow. Come On Town!
UTT.

There's always going to be some poor results against sides lower down in the table, that's football, the beauty is in its unpredicatability. But this season we've done better against the teams in the bottom half of the table than the top.

It isn't on, it is dead and buried. Our pathetic window transfer system meant the the players that might have got us promotion weren't available when Clark needed them. He knows who he needs and he will get them in the summer. In the meantime a point at Stockport is a good progression and to come out of a game like that feeling disappointed with a point suggests that the club has moved on immensely. Well done Deano and Clarky!

It would be very much still on IF we had the striker(s) we need. As it is its unlikely as we're going to continue relying on the midfield and defence to get all our goals.
Such a shame cos the right player in January ,maybe at the expense of one of Pilks or Ainsworth if needed, would have made ALL the difference and we would now be talking about automatic promotion being a realistic target, never mind a slim hope of a play-off place.

9 or 10 points from next 4 games and we will still have hope.

Last 16 games - 18 goals. Please explain where the goals are going to come from to get Town in the play offs - more to the point tell Clark!
Lets be realistic - its amazing that Town are as high as 10th, given that no striker on the books has managed more than 2 goals!
The only thing that matters is goals & the midfield / defence cant possibly score enough to get us in the play offs. All the recent games provide all the evidence we need, unfortunately.

6 points from the next two games and it's still on. Anything less and it could be good night vienna.

Before Saturday we had the worst away form in the division. We have more away games that home left. Realistically we have little chance. While it's still mathematically possible we can dream though.

Lets hope its not more of the same tomorrow Those and the injury time equalisers at Northampton and Stockport. Even another 4 points from all of those games would have made a huge diffrence.

We have no chance because we have to play matches away from home. Tranmere and Scunthorpe away? 0 points and game over.
