Huddersfield 0-1 Colchester Where did you get that Town Badge, Looks great!!! I designed it, and yes, i'm great ;D Its for my all new Huddersfield Town website which will be online for the 2009-10 promotion season. The site will have icons, wallpapers and posters to download aswell as a host of other stuff for fans of HTFC to read and look at, watch this space Edit: If anyone has any suggestions for any features they'd like to see in a Town website that others don't offer then please PM me with your ideas. Would be very helpful.

We'll probably thump them, just to annoy me who wont be going. Was hoping to find a nice Liverpool pub with Soccer "Tuesday" on but forgot about that local team that are playing sunderland on the tele

Sorry but Smithies never got near their penalty at all. What it was given for I have come on here to find out.

the pen... he deflected it with his shoulder... which the ref decided was upper arm

Not a keeper in the world would have saved that penalty (well, apart from Tim Clarke maybe {smiley wink thingy})

Although I didn't see it very clearly I really didn't think it was a penalty. The ball was whipped in with pace, and he was obviously not deliberate, nor did he gain any advantage. Harsh IMO

and from memory, none of their players appealed for it did they (including the guy who put the cross in,who was in the perfect place to appeal if he thought it was handball)

sorry but the ref was spot on with the penalty, goodwin did the sill thing of putting his arms up in the box like he has done twice before, ref had no option to give the pen.

I was sat Directly infront of it in FM Upper and had a clear view of it, Goodwin jumped in with his hands protecting his face!!! 99 times out of 100 that would not have been given!!!

He put his arms out stretched infront of him and the ball blasted off his hands. Clear penalty. Cpuldn't believe people around me claiming it hit his head or his shoulder. It hit his hands and a penalty was rightly given. The most annoying thing about it was their guy ran completely unmarked from his own half, it was obvious he was going to be on the recieving end of the pass and yet we just let him go

To be fair, the penalty was a decent effort - high and towards the corner. They are near 'un-save-able'. The free kick was a quality strike as well. Top corner, just under the bar/post bit.
Seems to me like we always get beaten by unlucky goals! On Saturday at Stockport with Clarkey's unfortunate own goal, last night with two goals which didn't come from open play, Oldham with that screamer of a volley.

If I recall correctly, Goodwin was also penalised for a similar thing at home to Leicester earlier this season. Trying to cut out a cross and the ball hit his arm as he slid in. Maybe he is a "frustrated keeper" I suggest they line him up against a wall up at Storthes Hall and fire balls at him whilst he tries to keep his arms out of the way ;D
