....now lost from winning positions this season. Enough to put us 3 points clear at the top.

incredible. think we need to get rid of a lot of players in summer, even those people claim are good enough, mentally they're not. Obviously

That's why we ain't going up this year!
Oh, and the fact we don't have any effective strikers.

Plenty for Clarky and the new team to get their teeth stuck in to, that's for sure.

We are still miles off being a decent 3rd division team. We are not capable of beating teams in this division by 2 clear goals and too often cave in when the opposition go for an equaliser in the dying minutes. We are where we deserve to be and that is mid table. Hopefully next season we will have at least 1 striker capable of scoring a goal sometime throughout the season but there is no chance whatsoever of us walking this league next season as a lot of posters seem to think we will!! Play offs next season would be a massive improvement on this season and will need to be fought for.

Isn't it Blackies job to get inside their heads and help stop these things happening. We have lost so many points from winning positions this season that i believe that the players now believe its fate that the inevitable late goal will be conceded.

Who are a million miles from good enough. Blind optimism reigns supreme on here. Too many posters on here think that we should be walking this league and that many of our players are brilliant. The majority are just workman-like journeymen. And it hurts.

If games were only 80 mins long we'd be currently 2nd in the league

Got a text from my mate on the final whistle: "Typical town" and it is! He doesn't even go regularly anymore due to other commitments yet nothing has changed. Every other team in this league seems to be able to beat another by a margin of more than 1 goal so why can't we?!

A striker woulnd't necessarily solve the problems although we certainly need one, what chances did we get tonight, I can't remember their keeper having a save to make, all this talk about if we take our chances we will be out of sight, but the games we are scraping 1-0 wins in its literally one chance on target, one goal, then cue defense and possibly a break away in the last minute after sustaining 45 mins of pressure.

Too many posters on here think that we should be walking this league and that many of our players are brilliant. The majority are just workman-like journeymen. And it hurts. Cant agree we are a barely moderate 3rd division team. The first 9 on the team sheet (keeper, back 4, midfield 4) are as good as most in the division. The trouble is we haven't a striker worthy of the name. The striking position at this club is nothing short of embarrassing (& that I'm afraid includes Booth). Yet another game goes by none of them scoring - nor looking like it. Lukas - no better than Jevons Cads - never will be a striker while he's got a hole in his arse. Booth - Its pitiful watching him trying to run. Shouldn't have had a contract last season, let alone this. If the rumoured 2 decent strikers are signed in the summer, I can see this team being strong contenders next season, without too much tinkering elsewhere.
