Already said this myself in another thread. Five games now, albeit not all FULL games, but patently not good enough. Parker looked more like scoring than Lukas.

He realised after the first game against Leeds that none of the other strikers could be bothered. So he figured he'd get away with it. That's what I reckon

Parker tries, Lukas doesn't, he looks like Jevons in both respects, send him back now please, I can't bliv Moyes told us not to ask for him permanently in the summer, he must be bluffing because I would sell him if I was offered 100k, I would snap the money up and get rid of him, looks pathetic.

Yes, but forgive me - aren't strikers supposed to SCORE goals?

He was rubbish, admittedly it was his shot that led to pilkys goal but im surprised he even managed that, shocking control! I think i'd actually prefer Jevens!!

Yes, but forgive me - aren't strikers supposed to SCORE goals? Tell that to our Lord God Sir Mighty Andrew Booth MSc PhD WMC PBUH Played these days as a link player. Looked knackered on arrival, played maybe one pass to a town shirt. NEVER chased down the keeper, something most town players are scolded for. Tonight was dull, at best, only really Pilkington looked worth his salt. Doubt we'll see a bad word about Houldsworth, who was Williams-esque tonight. Problem with town fans? Always looking for a scapegoat. This team is a team, everyone is at fault, just as any success is everyone's.

From the evidence so far, I can't believe that Clark has signed him. He looks absolutely knackered after about 15 minutes of every game.
When Craney came on, Lukas looked like he couldn't wait to get off. Actually started moving towards the bench, then realised the number being held up wasn't his!
Probably unfair to judge him when he's so blatantly unfit.

i agree he has been poor, i think we anticipated him to be better
i'm praying the beast gets clearance
but i do think he has shown moments as to why he is at everton, his shot that led to the goal would have been a great finish, was a great save, he held the ball up well against leeds
he's just not played well for the rest

He's failed to impress me thus far and looks like he needs a rocket up his ass (fitness is surely just an excuse for not been at it). I'd play him up front alone before Jevons & parker though.

I thought he looked decent for half an hour again Leeds and since then nothing, absolutely nothing. Just strolls around like Jevons and is hardly ever in the box.

Don't think I've ever seen a player look so knackered by about 50 mins. Looks dead on his feet. Game enough but back to Everton in the summer, please.

Probably sounds petty but on his debut against l**ds, everyone was cheering when they shouted out his name at the start of the game and he just carried on walking around the centre circle and didn't acknowledge the applause, almost like he didn't care. Like I said it's a petty on my behalf that it annoyed me but what's the harm in just clapping the crowd. Never rated him and never will, he's just a lanky unfit jevons

Does anyone actually rate him? Considering the club he's come from, and as an Everton prospect for the future, I think he's shocking bad. I don't recall a single thing of note from him in all the five matches he's played in - even a half decent run at a back four !

Like I said it's a petty on my behalf that it annoyed me but what's the harm in just clapping the crowd. Never rated him and never will, he's just a lanky unfit jevons I noticed that and feel the same way about it. he couldn't be arsed to acknowledge the fans and has pretty much played in a 'can't be arsed' style ever since. A lot of players struggled tonight and the blustery conditions had a lot to do with that, but strong winds are no excuse for not giving it 100% and that lad has a real effort problem. He's like a cross between Jevons and McAliskey- not a great combination! I can't believe with all the money he had to play with and so much time to scout out deals and then a whole month to sign someone, Lucas is the best we could get up front! I actually think hes less effective than Parker, maybe even jevons if thats possible. Another striker who could play every game in a season and not reach anything like double figures. Just what we needed! cads was good though. Easily our best player in the first half. But the problem is all his good work was out wide, BECAUSE HES A WINGER LEE, and none of it was as a striker in front of goal. I can't remember any Town team, even in any of the relegation seasons Ive seen, that has so little up front as we currently do. Its like a bad joke that you keep hearing again and again. Roll on the summer and 2 proper, decent strikers. I hope Clark gets the choices right this time.

Totally agree, he looks like he does not give a damn.
He can go back to Goodison for me, doubt he will see any action there in the near or distant future.

It's not that he doesn't try, he just looks ridiculously unfit. Which in itself is poor, but still.
You have to remember though, he played a big part in the goal tonight, played a big part in the goal against Crewe and played a big part in the buildup to the goal vs Stockport. And did pretty well on debut. He has a role to play in the rest of the season, but seeing as the playoff run is effectively over then I'd like us to see someone else have a chance.

are we still allowed to bring another striker in on loan? If so, I think we should do it regardless of our failed bid to reach the play offs. It would make the end of season a lot more interesting if we had a striker who could notch a few goals. Sure it would have a positive effect on season ticket sales for next year also.

Comment (very loud!) from a guy in front of me last night: "Bring a stretcher for that lad" --- Dead on!!
On the one occasion I have seen him in the reserves Denton looked to be as good as Lukas - and shows a sight more effort.

Just before he was taken off, I swear I've never seen a footballer run so slowly.
And to think David Moyes has issued a hands off warning to Clark - Good job for us though.
