I like what I read in t'Examiner when Clark said he did not want Town to lay back but keep on attacking. He seems to go on about this quite a lot. Surely this means he also goes on about it in the training sessions?
That got me thinking, why do the players not attack more as instructed, are they thick or not good enough?
What say you locals who watch 'em every week?

Lee on Tuesday was constantly telling the defence to push up... in fact over and over again. I was sat near the dugouts.
They still lay back
So do they not respect him? Bad Management? No good enough? Thick?

Rome wasn't built in a day, Clark knows how he wants it played but the players are just a bit "fick". He's seen their potential just like the last few managers, and with a bit of patience, we'll see it too.

Not confident in themselves yet. We are struggling at the moment so when confidence in team isn't there will breed caution.
It will come but we need to start a proper run. Hopefully it starts tomorrow and we get a comfortable win, but I highly doubt it.
If we can finish strong then the confidence should be there for next season

Gash strikers who can't hold the ball up.

I was at the patrons meeting on Wednesday night and when Butler was asked what Clark said, butler smiled to himself and said "I can't repeat what he said" but did emphasis that Clark wasn't happy with being negative and Butler just said it was the players that were nervous, over cautious whatever to try and get three points.

I am a Clark fan & generally am very positive about what he has done so far, however, if he was so intent on keeping attacking on tuesday, why did he change from the 442 formation, that had turned things round in the second half, to a 451?

Wasn't it more of a 4-4-1-1? I don't think so, as Boothy was totally isolated

it was 4 4 1 1 and novas right, speaking to the players and they all recognise that its the two up top that need to help the ball "stick",we ll get it right.hopefully it ll all fall in sooner than later

When we reach the last ten minutes, the defence and centre mids to some extent forgot all about their passing and just smash it anywhere making it impossible to retain the ball. Works both ways...

wasting your time fella. this lot work on the 80/20 rule. 80% of the time player/manager/coaching staff bashing 20% of the time positivity
