Williams for me. Made some crucial tackles and interceptions, particularly in the 2nd half.

Credit where it is due - Williams looked a lot better than usual today. His marking still needs to improve but today he recovered well in those situations.

Was I at the same game? Lucketti?? As in the old, slow centre half?
Now, don't get me wrong, he won a number of headers, but not when they mattered. - Goal 1, challenge missed. - The smithies wonder save...lucketti ball watching - Free header first half put wide - lucketti rooted.
Clark may have acknowledged him after the game but he was fuming with him for the goal.
Williams 1st, Pilkington 2nd, roberts 3rd, boothy 4th, kit man 5th

Williams by a country mile. The lad gets a lot of stick on here, but credit where credit's due, he was our best performer yesterday.

Williams for me. He's put together a good run in the side in my opinion, and he does try to get forward to help the attack. Good interceptions and strong in the tackle. Yes, he might miss some and drift a bit sometimes, but then again we are in league 1 aren't we.
