Only 6 blo*dy months away.
we can pretty much all see what is wrong with the team, so please, please let Lee and the mob see it as well.
A 20+ goal striker lifts everyone in a team. It instils confidence. No wonder the service from the wings is getting worse knowing that nobody is remotely likely to finish things off.
Lukas will never be a permanent signing so why on earth don't we let someone else have a go - Pilks or Ainsworth (after all we were told loud and proud that both could plat centrally when we signed them), Broadbent etc It couldn't be less effective than what we witnessed today.
With Boothy in the twilight of his career and the effectiveness of the rest no so hot we need two strikers in. That and a bit of luck getting off to a good start then anything is possible. Goals and winning games lift people. Just gutted it is August before we can hope again. (and yes you can delude yourselves by saying 'as long as it is mathematically possible' and all that crap).

Hang on a minute,
We've still a quarter of this one left if anyone can be arsed to try and entertain and create some optimism for next season's "promotion push"

This season was dead and buried way back in feb when we drew 1-1 against hartlepool. The players probably know it too and thats why imo they just arsing around and not putting as much effort in as normal..

It has been a real damp squib this season given all the hype beforehand, and looking at what is likely to come down from the championship it wont be any easier next time - charlton, soton and norwich will all be strong in this league and if as i suspect posh and leeds stay down then it will be a hell of a league! On the positive note, sadford are likely to come up so thats 6pts towards promotion!
