Fair play to Robbie. I've been critical about him in the past but he's done very well since Clarky came in and deserves his spot and I too thought he was MOTM.

Why the hell did butler get man of the match? As soon as he got it he lost his concentration, didn`t track his man and we know the rest dont we..

Agreed. I too have been very critical of Williams but today he was Town's best player. Mind you, he did not have so much competition!

I've criticised him and I think his marking is still abysmal.
But today, he was one of Town's best players. He recovered well in every instance where his loose marking allowed his man space, he beat his man in the air every time I think. He made several interceptions.
Well done Robbie, use that performace as a stepping stone towards better games more consistency.

MOTM easily for me. Seems to have stepped up since we signed Werling.

Agree, MOM for me above Butler. Both have been vastly improved since the early part of the season. Williams made some vital 'last man' challenges on the second half as well as making some good passes to build attacks.

Great performance from Robbie. Not a one off though. He has been good for weeks

Agree with all of the above. I have criticised Williams in the past but he has been playing well recently and deserved MOTM today. One of the few Town players to show some composure on the ball and the only defender not to spend the match hacking the ball down the pitch.

Made a wonderful second-half last-man tackle when TWO lions were on the verge of breaking clear - with his RIGHT foot too!

If the rest of them had played as well as he did today the result would have been very different.
Well done Robbie you were my MOM today as well.

He continues to show us what a good footballer he really is and yes he was my man of the match.

I thought Millwall targeted him, not physically but it terms of him being our 'weak link', they seemed to try to find their right winger time after time, but credit to Williams he did do pritty well. Interesting though that they though he was a weak link!

Interesting though that they though he was a weak link! Not necessarily, maybe it's interesting that as a footballer would you rather face Pilks/Cads and then Holdsworth on the right or just play down the left where you only have to face Williams? I have said it before Williams gets very little cover from Roberts so he therefore has to usually cover the left wing and left midfield in a defensive role while still getting screamed at by everyone to get the ball forward (or is that just the people that always sit near me?) When the opposition takes a corner Holdsworth usually runs to the goalpost, Clarke to the corner it's being taken from and Butler is usually not far behind Clarke this then leaves Williams as the only defender to cover the rest of the area (not including midfielders) so if the ball goes beyond Butler everyone and their dog starts shouting at Williams to cover it. If all our players did exactly what we wanted from them we wouldn't be in League 1. Well done Robbie

Our RHS is the weak link. Lionel cannot tackle or chase back (how can someone with so much pace have so little urgency?) and Houldsworth backs off until the edge of the 18yd box, or byline before even attempting a challenge, thus making any counter attack requiring us to make up an extra 10-20yds before we are even out of our own half.
