All I hear is one excuse after another......
The FACT is we will finish half way in the table, below many teams who have spent considerably less than us on players and who attract 5/6,000 supporters. We began a home game today playing just one striker ( If that's what you can call him ) Where are these signs that we will improve next season ? An assumption that seems to be based solely on the reputation of our Management staff. Am I alone in witnessing a steady downturn in both performance and results?

I thought we lined up with 2 strikers, roberts playing in the deeper position.
He swapped with pilks
Then pilkington slotted into a central 3 in a 451 to help collins and craney due to the latter's inability to hold his position.
Give it time, we all know we need 2 strikers, another centre half and 1 or 2 here and there (for me aright back with holdsworth moved into cm/fighting for right back)...with 6/7 at least to depart!

When Lee Clark has two decent strikers he will play with two strikers.
Who exactly would you have played up front?
The signs of improvement are that Lee Clark can see what the problem is. He tells it like the fans see it in his comments, rather than making excuses like Ternent and Ritchie did. I'll judge him next season when he's had a proper chance to shape the squad and really get his ideas across.
