Going to go for a drink at the Enigma Tavern before Tuesday's game in Milton Keynes. It's between Bletchley train station and the ground on Saxon Street. Get involved. Let's turn it blue & white. Bit of info for those going - Enigma Tavern is about a 10 minute walk from the ground. Also there is The Beacon, which is the home fans pub (but very welcoming to away fans), but it's a total dive, a lot of our fans are getting fed up and trying other places. It's on the right side of the ground on that map, between the stadium and the lake.
You could also head for Fenny Stratford (on the right of that map posted) where there's a couple of pubs a similar distance as the ET.

Coming in southbound by car from M1 exit 14.
Is there anyplace decentish for a bite to eat (a Toby or similar chain is OK)
Anything within 15 minutes walk from the ground ?
Better to go and park, then walk back ?
Thanks

Not a lot. Asda and Ikea are right next door to the stadium and both have cafes, which are reasonable, probably more so the latter. Saturday is a different story but they shouldn't be busy on a Tuesday night.
Near the Enigma Tavern there's a Burger King and I think a KFC as well, don't know if you want something better than that.
Ikea won't be too busy so you could probably park there if you're eating there (not sure about Ikea but Asda clamp non-customers). Parking at the stadium is £5 and not really worth it with the industrial estate around the ground (either near The Beacon or opposite the main entrance to the stadium car park).

Donsoli, is the Eager Poet still there?
worked in MK round about 23-24 yrs ago. Worked on the Texas Homecare at Rooksley, digs were in Neath hill, hence the Eager Poet. Know it's changed a lot since then...

dewsburyborn, Enigma tavern's south side of the ground.
and on the way from Bletchley station for all those travelling by train. read bad reviews of the Beacon, so not gonna bother heading there.
