That “on a good day” is rubbish; if he’s fit, he’s good enough for this league. As for “10/15” games: he’s taken part in 27 this season. The only reason he’s in this division is because of his injury record; there’s no way we could get “someone else equally as good” for the same money.

Take it from me that Cads is going. Boothy will play another season. That to me, makes absolutely no sense at all. Keep Booth, a player who is likely to miss 3/4 of the season and when he does play takes more from the team than he gives it. Yet ditch cads, who has just played more games than hes managed in years and when fit is one of the best wide men at this level ?? If that happens ,then IMO Clark is making a huge rick and to be honest, doubts would start in my head whether he knows what the hell hes doing! .

Didn't realise he'd played that many this season to be honest with you. Im willing to trust Clark and his team, they see more of him than we do.

Cads was at the game on Saturday and seemed in good form. Personally I thought he had a bit of a limp when he moved. I would be happy with Cads here next season and if we can get 25 games out of him next season, he will play a big part for us.
I'm interested to know where the "Cads Ain't Getting A New Contract" information came from! A number of other decent clubs injury record or not have been impressed by him this season!

I think i recall Dean Hoyle and Nigel Clibbens at the HTSA Meeting in stockport saying Danny Cads had been offered a contract on basically what is a pay when you play deal, i think it is something along the lines of a reasonable low salary when not fit and when fit and playing a good salary.
Which i think is good for both parties. I think the reason cads gets injured all the time isn't due to bad luck the majoirty of the time, i think it could be down to preparation no.1 coming back to quickly. not warming up properly and cooling down properly. Yes you have warm ups with the coaches etc however players are responsible to make sure theyre fully warmed up and stretched, e.g "if your feeling tight anywhere, make sure you warm up and spend a few mins stretching".
So to say Cads aint getting a new contract would be wrong. its basically down for him to hopefully get fit and remain fit til the end of season and then take up the offer.

Take it from me that Cads is going. Boothy will play another season. Two new strikers coming in the summer as first choice strikes with Boothy and Novak as backups. www.htafc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10312~1587207,00.html From Booth's comments on the official site it definitely sounds like this season is his last.
