In past posts I have tried to be level headed and not react to situations in the heat of the moment. I have had the weekend to calm down, and now it's Monday morning - I'm reflecting about the Millwall match - and damn it - I'm still incredibly angry. I think my anger is more sheer dissapointment and despair with hint of being thoroughly upset. Quck capsule review of Town and venting of anger is necessary I think: 1. Prominent in my mind is Lukas Joke-avitch - never have I seen a player with so little ambition and professionalism as this player. Lazy, slow, 2 appalling shots all game, doesnt tackle or chase, doesnt look interested - AND STILL HAS NOT SCORED! This guy is no striker - he has no place being involved in the football world - he should try getting a job at the Sleep Council or something, Benson's For Beds - take your pick. Go back to Everton, and Moyes I hope you are eating those words about "not for sale, don't think about asking to sign him at the end of his loan period" - not his exact words but something along those lines! Good God - are you having AN ABSOLUTE LAUGH! Are you trying to big this player up because you wanting to get rid of him, and thinking some reverse psychology on Town will make us put a bit in for him for £2 million - seriously - JUST F**K OFF, THE LOT OF YOU! 2. Phew! Thats better now - next point - unproffesional finishing off at matches AGAIN!!! - Letting goals in at the end of the game for the 4th or 5th time now - this is getting to me! It must also be getting to the lads as they seem to be expecting this to happen - so psycologically they are setting themseleves up for a defeat or draw at best - something needs to change - the players should be marshalled by the captain and told to buck up - but that doesnt appear to be happening! 3. God awful referees!! - I mean truly dreadful at the Millwall match, the linesmen/women were not much better either! But that referee was in danger of inciting the crowd into a riot! Some of the decisions were dreadful - he's one of these referees who pulls players up for having the ball a yard or two further forward on free kicks (from offsides etc) - but when it comes to crucial decisions and protecting players from injury - NOTHING. That's a weak official who should not be refereeing at this level - I would argue in this case he should never referee at all in his life. 4. The team generally is not promotion material at the moment - the cracks are widening and it's becoming clear for all to see. I don't blame Clark - he needs another 2 years to show whether he has got what it takes. We need to clear out alot of deadwood from a bloated squad full of no-hopers and keep the decent players (obviously) e.g. Smithies, Williams, Roberts, Collins, Cads, Ainsworth, Collins AND PILKINGTON (ammendment), and I guess Clarke and Butler, but they seem to making a few critical mistakes still. That leaves a lot of places to fill if you just keep those players - so really in my personal opinioin we are playing with half a squad of good players, maybe less - come next season Clark should be able to make some moves to get players in to bolster his squad and challenge for promotion, he needs a full season and the chances to mold a squad in his vision - I have high hopes this will happen, esp. with the new chairman in place. Anway thats my rather long winded 2 peneth - but I see it as a kind of therapy! TTID

Pilkington is differnt class. I hope we can hold onto him in the Summer as I wouldn't be surprised of a large bid for him despite him only being here for a month

The late goal Saturday doesn't worry me as much as the Col U and Stockport ones. At least we were going for it on Saturday and were caught commiting players forward going for the win. 1 point or no points from Saturday didn't make much difference, anything less than three points meant play-offs were as good as out of reach. Can''t argue with your other points though - although there's no way Clark will get 2 years to succeed. It will have to be next season or he'll be gone - in fact we'll have to be top 10 in November/December or he'll probably be gone, such is the unrealistic level of expectation at Huddersfield Town.

If he is gone in nov/dec then we might as well shut the shop up! It is time our expectations became more realistic and we gave our managers a bit of time. Deano has invested significant time and money in getting this appointment sorted and we have to give them all the backing they need to sort it out. Regrettably, several decent results earlier in the season masked the truth which is we arent bloody good enough in most areas! Clark will have seen this in recent games and hopefully will make the necessary adjustments in the summer - until then i just hope he tries a few fringe players to assess their eligibility for next season. I wouldnt play glennon(if he was fit!), skarz, lucketti, kamara, worthy, jevons, parker again as they wouldnt be part of my plans - will be interesting what clark does over the coming weeks.

I would give Clark 2 years minimum. However, why is being in the top 10 an unrealistic expectation? We finished 10th last season, we're in the same area now, we have made huge investments in players and staff. If we're not up there next season around the play offs I would say that there is a problem and don't see that being unrealistic

Got to be playoffs next season and thats not greedy.... with the backroom setup and level of investment that must be minimum for next year, Clark has got to be given enough time to turn this club around however and that has to be all of next season minimum..
