Sad state of affairs that Boothy and Jevons are our 'best' strikers. EDIT: Just seen Digger's post about Roberts. He'd definitely be in for me. Even when he has been playing poor, you know he will come good and is arguably our best player.

What's up with Roberts? I'd like to see T Clarke at centre back with Butler and Berrett in midfield with Craney. Put Booth and Lukas up front and any two of Roberts, Pilks, Lionel or Cads out wide.

Butler in CM? But the man can't pass a ball? I'd play the same 11 as Saturday but with Pilks on the right, Roberts on the left and Boothy up top with Jevons or Ainsworth.

That case Berrett for Goodwin and stick Collins on the bench in place of Berrett.

I was disappointed with T Clarke on Saturday.Their midfielder/ defender was able to carry the ball forward as fast as TC could run without the ball! We need more pace in our defense.

Pilkington/Roberts/Ainsworth have all been poor strike partners as they all drop too deep and too wide and do not support the other striker. They get in the way of people like Collins and are not there as an option when the midfield does get the ball. When we aren't in position they are way back in our own half making it ten behind the ball all the time and negating our chances of a quick break if we do win the ball back. Time to play two real strikers - especially at home. It's not that radical is it? Just because it's not fashionable in the fckng Premier League!

It's up to the manager to tell his players how he wants them to play. It might be a bit difficult to get Roberts to do anything that he doesn't want to do, ;D but I bet Pilks would respond to the call if it came

if we have such a big squad why don't we give some players who hardly get a game a game tomorrow?
