LOL.
4000 on a Tues nite.....me thinks not.
If you do want a Stella......dont go to The Beacon. A proper S*ithole. Not many boozers near the ground what with it being a new, lifeless concrete bowl with no atmosphere!! One day we will be selling it out every week.....32,000 ! (one day, honest).
There are a few decent pubs in Fenny Stratford, about 20 - 25 mins walk. Good chip shop up there also. Alternatively, there are a couple of pubs near Bletchley station, The Park and The Enigma.
Oh, and by the way.....were the REAL cowshed as we told Tranmere the other week.
Come on the franchise !!

500, thats a bit more like it. I would be impressed with that on a midweek game. We shall see.

Well we should have Puncheon back tonight, and also Llera at centre back, so Im hoping to win by just the one goal, either 1-0 or 2-1. Gonna be a close fought thing. If I was putting money on it, the draw would be my bet!!! Conditions could play a big part in it. Very windy down here at the moment with constant heavy showers.
Will Pilkington be playing? Heard he got a knock on the ankle against Millwall.
We will be hoping our neighbours Northampton can do us a favour against the 'wall tonight............i doubt it though.
Any predictions from you?

How many do you think you will be taking tonight? At least 2 E's are required to make watching town a pleasurable experience.

Eh, are you an MK Dons fan or what Of course not! We are just a bunch of Spurs, Chelski, Arsenal, West Ham, Man Utd, Luton, Northampton, Newcastle, Glasgow Rangers, Boca Juniors, L.A Galaxy supporters who have switched loyalties and now follow the M.K Army over land and sea (and wycombe). Thats what being a franchise is all about isnt it?

Let's be honest about it, a team moves into a new area, how many 'real' fans is it going to have? Only the youngsters who grow up with the team in years to come will be able to say they are M.K through and through. Like my five year old son. I just wanted to take him to football. A team arrive on my doorstep, I take him, he loves it, I get the buzz again, we start following them (32 out of 38 games after tonight)! I was a season ticket holder at Spurs for 15 years, followed them home and away and europe (believe it or not). So they will always be my first love. The fact is that I simply cannot afford to take my lad to Spurs week in week out. Premiership football prices are way over the top and are still rising. So I'd rather him have a team he is able to follow as he grows up. I look at it like following my local side. We've all followed our local 'non league' sides at some stage. It just so happens my local team are in League 1 and looking good for promotion. The fact that we have the highest percentage of under 16 season ticket holders in the country speaks volumes. Winkleman has done a fantastic job for the area, and it is only going to continue to grow. Whatever your thoughts on the Wimbledon thing, the fact is that it is now history, nothing is going to change the situation, MK Dons are here to stay. It was Merton Council who didn't want to know when Wimbledon were looking for help on moving back to their spiritual home. I blame them.

If you'd posted that on Waccoe, you would be getting dogs abuse now. Good to hear a fans view about Winkleman, and the Wimbledon thing. As you say, it's history now.

Fair enough. I just thought it was a bit odd you being a MK Dons fan and calling the Franchise thats all. If your a Spurs fan and you just take your take your son then fair enough.
I'll never agree with anyone who is a "football fan" of any club going to support MK Dons, because of what they represent. In my ideal world nobody would have ever gone to MK Dons and they would have gone bust and been forgotten about. Thats just me though, obviously others are free to so as they wish.

I honestly thought the same mate, that there would be no interest and it would fizzle out embarrassingly. But Winkleman had alot of balls to do what he did, took a gamble and it paid off. He deserves alot of credit for continuing with his vision in the face of extreme adversity. I have met alot of blokes who are in the same boat as me, who take their kids to watch live football home and away. We have all got right back into it and I will always now follow the Dons with my Lad (and my younger lad in a few years)!! For me, it has allowed me to go to grounds that I would never have gone to, to be able to have a drink with opposition fans all over the country (which was near on impossible to do when following spurs!), and to see the look on my lads face when you step off the coach in places like Millwall !!!!! There is nothing like going to watch football, especially away. As for the franchise thing, well we are very used to all that now. We even use it ouselves just to see the baffled look on the opposition support, it just winds them up!! Hopefully tonight you will hear such classics as "Beat by the franchise, your getting beat by the franchise......" "Sit down, or we'll steal your club" "franchise scum, who gives a f*ck, were MK Dons and were going up" !!!!! Good luck getting into the play-offs. Id love us both to go up, just because I enjoy my trips up to Lindley on the lash with the family! Will be up for the Leeds game in a few weeks if anyone wants to buy me a southern softy shandy? Cheers.
