Video refs wouldn't make it down to little old league 1 But Leeds are down here. They're a premiership club, so i imagine the video ref will be down here next season. Bloke who does the video reffing probably wondered why he's had a spare camera for the past few seasons....

It was never a goal. Unlucky? = definitely. Good defending? = probably. Bad refereeing/linesman...ing? = Nah! Don't get me wrong, the ref was as soft as anything (and what was that helping the MK left back up off the ground all about???!?!), but this was the right decision. I stand by my opinion until I watch the ball clearly having crossed the line on Virgin Media highlights tomorrow

Obviously I cannot say yea or nay, but if the ball strikes BOTH posts, unless there was massive spin/swerve on the ball, I do not think it is likely to have completely crossed the goal line.

i was sat right at front next to the netting ( there was no fans behind the net by the way) and from my view it crossed the line and swerved back over.... IT ALSO HIT THE DEFENDER ON THE ARM SO WHY NO HANDBALL

I was sat bang in line with the goalline.
The ball clearly did not cross the line.
However the defenders arm and ball definitely came into contact with each other. Hard to see how in that situation it could be regarded as accidental.
Don't know if anyone else has commented but when it's completed and if it EVER gets full, that will be a cracking ground.
Facilities are excellent, tons of legroom (& wider seats than the Mac - padded too) with a sound system that you can actually hear.
With yesterdays crowd however seemed at times like a reserve game . If MK encouraged fans to sit on the side (with a better view and nearer others) instead of primarily behind goals (or in our case in the corner) it would be better.

They were mentioning on the radio at the weekend that a system is being considered where an extra 2 officials will be brought in to stay on the goal line to mainly look for shirt pulling and other offences during corners but presumably part of their remit will be to be better placed for close calls as to whether the ball has gone over or not. I think they said they would trial it in an irish league and if proved wothwhile might come in to the rest of the league by 2011.

Just seen it on Look North. It certainly looked like it crossed the line, although I cannot be 100% certain on just one viewing. His foot certainly hooked back to behind the line, and part of the ball would certainly have crossed the line - although maybe not all of it. I'll wait and see it again on Virgin Media when they put up the highlights.

Saw it on Calendar, it looks like it probably crossed the line, but impossible to call it, and even harder to give it from a Ref's point of view (who must be sure it crossed the line to give a goal). Thats 2 tough calls against us in the last 2 games, but thats football !

umm..., i could see it go in, i had nothing in my way, definately did go in buuuuuuttttttt, if the lineman and the referee thought about it, how come they couldnt put it in there freakin heads that how could the defender make the ball go back on him when he was sliding the same way as the ball without using his hands
